24 xlt 2.7 with the tow package. I used a tow dolly to pick up a Prius. It pulled very nicely and most of the time I didn't realize it was there. (I kept wondering why this Prius was tailgating me). About 150 miles on the highway I didn't even notice a big change in MPG.

I just switched from a Gen3 Tacoma to a 2.7l 2024. The Taco struggled in the high elevation. I'm still on our first outing of the year. Boise to Bend, Sisters, Detroit Lake Then South to CA. Per the computer we have gone 833 miles and 13.4 MPG. I am super happy with this truck.

What is the GVWR of your truck (sticker on the driver door). Most truck/trailer combo's max out the payload of the truck before the towing capacity. How many people in the cab, what are you planning to carry in the bed? + tongue weight... I just replaced a 21 Tacoma (995 lb payload) with a 24...

I have a 24 XLT 2.7 Sport, no running boards. I ordered this way as to not reduce the payload. The sticker on the diver door states 1495 lbs.

Does this only happen when it is cold? My XLT does a rough downshift stopping at the first intersection. It does not happen after a few minutes of driving. I have about 700 miles on the truck.

I have a light foot, and I've watched the boost gauge. I drive on relatively flat roads and the transmission just ticks up through the gears with the engine < 2000 rpm. A big difference over the 3rd gen Taco is that it would aggressively shift into a higher gear and the engine would be in a low...

I have 200 miles on my 24 XLT 2.7L (from 21 Taco). I'm afraid that I'm going to get a speeding ticket. It accelerates so effortlessly (even without the turbo's engaging).

Where did you find the turbo gauge (I have not been able to locate it)? As for Bar vs PSI, could it be in the options found in the center display?

I ordered on May 5, revieved the 45 day email -- then nothing else. In September I revieved a build date of Oct 7. The truck is in "shipping" status right now. 2.7l XLT

Replacing the Taco with a 2.7l XLT with Tech and advanced towing. Build date is Oct 7. Gulfstream 19TWD, ~3800lb with out food, water, 4200lb GVWR. ~500lb tongue weight.

Ordered 2.7l XLT on May 7, build scheduled for Oct 7.

Question: If I haven't received a response from Ford on my 2.7l XLT order (other than a 45 day email that they have my order) should I assume that it's not going to be built? Will it be converted to a MY25 order or does my dealer have to do that? Just got an email that I'm scheduled for Oct 7...

When did you order? I haven't heard a peep since the 45 day email.
