After looking at a bunch of Rangers here with either the 2.5” or 1.5” level, there appears to be no difference, in fact, some of the 1.5” levels appear to be higher in the front than the 2.5” ones. I may end up doing the safe 1” level because of the chance the truck looks “up” in the front even...
RJRanger, do you have any other pics of your Ranger outside? I'm trying to decide between leaving my Lariat FX4 stock height or giving it a modest 1.5" level. I will be getting the 265/70/18's as well.
These Rangers don't have the massive rake that the F150's come with from the factory, so...
I agree and like the factory Lariat alloys, I only wish they were "non-directional", but Ford can't please everyone. If they made the Lariat wheels all black then someone would be complaining about them not having a machined silver accent.
Thanks for the pics. Funny how the weights of both the 255's and 265's are identical (both the Bridgestone website and Tirerack specs show 39 lbs), so theoretically the MPGs should be about the same. The 265's will raise the overall gear ratio (taller) a little bit but that's it. Tough choice!
EasternKS: Could you please attach some more pics of your truck's tire setup? If possible, some front & rear pics?
I have the exact same truck ordered, and it's down to 255/70r18 or 265/70r18, with the same tire you have (Bridgestone Dueler Ascent A/T). I have these tires on an F150 now and...
I tried to order a Power Moonroof yesterday on my Lariat, which doesn’t have a build date yet, my dealer tried but the Ford order site said they aren’t available yet. No parts until Spring. Too bad, I’d like one but it’s not a deal breaker.
I originally was going to order the Lariat with Chrome Package but decided not to - I liked the Chrome grille but the wheels were just too much. And now that the CP includes Chrome door and tailgate handles I'm happy I didn't get it. But.....I have to say I'm pretty happy about the new Chrome...
Also, if you just order the "Trailer Tow Package" and then try to add the standalone "Trailer Brake Controller" option, it removes the Technology Package. Dear Ford: why the heck does adding a trailer brake option make you remove Adaptive Cruise & 360 degree camera (Technology Package)...
Anyone know why when you add "Advanced Tow Package" it deletes the "Technology Package" (front parking sensors and 360 camera)? All I care about on the ATP is the trailer brake controller anyway, which I can just add later.
I've had F350's, 250's, and 150's for so long that it has just become a habit. Nothing better than an 8' bed too. Boys are now out of the house, wife does not drive my "big" trucks, and I'm not building or landscaping my house in "big" ways anymore. More often than not, I'm by myself in my...
I have (4) new OEM factory take-offs:
- 2025 Ranger lariat
- 18" Aluminum with machined face
- includes Center Caps, TPMS sensors and valves
I bought these from a guy who literally took them off when his truck was new, thinking I was going to get an XLT. Well, I decided to order a Lariat so...
I agree. I have LT Bridgestone Ascent A/T's on my F150 Crew Cab. Even though they are Load Range E tires and one sizez bigger than stock, they are the smoothest, quietest, and best handling tire I have owned, and I've owned a lot of tires over the years.
I'll be putting the (non-LT) Dueler...
