And then we wonder why it's so hard to buy a truck without adms when there are people just willing to line the dealership owners pocket with cash so easily lol.
That's absolutely a good indicator. It's crazy to me that Ford went ahead and dropped the same engine in a 56k midsized truck lol. Though I'm happy they did.
Very true. It's not beneficial from the practical standpoint. Mpgs are nice, but a more complicated powertrain and less space are not so nice hence why I feel ICE options should be offered along with hybrid for people to choose what they want/need.
I think the new TRD Pro/Trailhunter are badass trucks, but they missed with making the hybrid drive train the only option on these. I was hoping for a good Raptor competitor but hybrid isn't for me.
I was being more general than responding to you, and I don't have a problem with anyone criticizing Ford, as they clearly don't have a perfect product and don't offer all popular cab versions etc.. I was just saying that if Ranger is not for someone luckily there are many other options and...
In my opinion Raptor is likely the only Ranger where it's out of competition. Anything else? If you don't like the Ranger XL/XLT/Lariat and what it offers just get a half ton or go to the competition, simple as that. No need to go out and prove a point to everyone so long you've proven it to...
Honestly if someone is looking at a non-Raptor the new Tacoma is an amazing choice to consider. The one thing about the Raptor is that it doesn't really have competition. Yes, there is the Tacoma TRD Pro, Colorado ZR2/Canyon AT4X, Frontier Pro4X, but none come with a twin turbo V6 rated at just...
I do wonder about Ford coming out with a tune for the Ranger Raptor since the current F150 Raptor has 450HP and with a tune adding 50HP it could potentially cannibalize the F150 Raptor, keep in mind the Ranger is lighter. I do hope they'll put one out regardless, I had one on my Ecoboost Mustang...
I feel the 3.0TT will have plenty of tuning potential judging by what's being done with the 3.0TT in the Explorer ST. Livernois has a 93 octane tune for the Explorer ST with 110WHP (137.5HP at engine) and 115WTQ (138lb-ft) maximum peak gain...
