Consumer Reports? LOL. I also own a Maytag wasaher. What do they say about that? So you were so butt hurt that you spent some time out of your life searching and searching until you finally found a non-automotive source that doesn't like the GC. Unlike you I'm not wedded to one brand. All I can...
Exactly. That's why my decision between a Ranger and getting another Grand Cherokee is leaning toward the GC. An excellent V6 that still has port injection only along with an excellent ZF trans and LOTS less nanny electronics. No carbon build up, no cam phasers rattling around in the engine...
I used to supervise a Ford dealership body shop. Most of these OEM bedrail trim have pegs on the underside that simply press into and hook under holes in the sheet metal. Usually when you pull them off the pegs are deformed and the trim will bend so they are seldom reused unless you are very...
I'll try again. An XLT comes with a rear end right? So when they put a rear end in a Raptor you don't add the entire cost of the rear end as an added expense to the cost of a Raptor. You only add the difference in MANUFACTURING COSTS between the manufacturing cost of an XLT rear end and the...
From your video I'm wondering if you can stick a dowel through the glove box area up to support that mount point enough to snap in the panel and see if that stays seated?
" The real cost difference is the engine ". Remember, reading comprehension is your friend. As far as all the rest you mentioned, mostly the cost of a little extra steel.
Actually I do know the differences. But there are some folks when reading posts who cannot discern humor, sarcasm or in this case simplistic exaggeration to make a condensed point. So to clearly make the point, there is not anywhere near a $30k cost difference in the manufacture of an XLT to...
And that's why I don't spend $60k on a vehicle. When it comes down to it, it's just a $30k truck with a bigger engine and some emblems that cost the factory $2k more but they charge $30k more for. Kaching!
From the Owner's Manual:
Switching the Lane Keeping System On and Off
To activate the lane keeping system, press the button on the steering wheel.
To deactivate the lane keeping system, press the button again.
Note: When switching the system on or off a message appears...
I've had several Line-X liners in past trucks. Keep an eye on it. If it starts to fade then they did you like they did me the last time and charged me for the UV protection but didn't actually apply it. After almost a year I went back and had them do it.
Even Chevy offered an optional "A" pillar trim with handle in the parts dept. I bought one as soon as I bought my Silverado. And there was even an airbag behind it when I changed it.
Too bad. I had a 2014 Chevy Silverado. It also had the airbag on the "A" pillar but Chevy sold an optional grab handle which I installed. Unfortunate that Ford did not do the same thing.
It may be that items like heated seats and steering will not function when ambient temps are above a certain degree. Just like the A/C compressor will not run if ambient temp is below a certain degree.
I found this statement in other Ford truck and car manuals;
Note: In warm...
