I know the max torq for the 10R60 is almost reached with the raptor.
I’d be very curious to see what happens when people tune the raptor, beyond its stated limit it can handle.
Def will void the warranty
So I know the 2.3 has been around for years, seems to overall be well dialed in.
How about the 10 speeds? Have they figured these out yet? Currently getting hosed by gm with my canyon and the trans issues they have.
I’m cautiously skeptical about the ranger, mostly following this fourm to see...
lol it’s that kind of thinking why people pay so much in interest.
My rule is never do more than 36 months, and always pay it down sooner.
It’s crazy to think some people are taking 5-7 years to pay off just a car
Yeah…I think ford really missed a competitive edge, had they been able to be producing mid last year as planned.
I get it, strike ya ya, but it sure had consequences.
Don’t change me, I’m waiting a few years, for the ranger to get more reliable, then I’ll hop in
My rule of thumb is never take a loan past 36 months for a car. After that, the banks are just winning from the interest they collect.
A loan of 20k at 3 years ain’t a big deal.
I’m waiting to see the Tacoma. I got screwed with gm with my transmission, so I’ll see if the Tacoma or ranger is what I want.
I’ll test drive all theee tho
I liked the canyon looks and the Colorado looks.
But the ford ranger has the sweet trailer pro assist. That’s a game changer for me.
But if prices are jacked up high from this new uaw stuff, might be looking elsewhere
I think the new trail boss is sweet. But I’m not a believer in gm right now, they seem to be cutting a lot of quality corners.
I am open to the taco, but would have to drive it. Price and price. Let’s see how much they shaft us.
Honestly I think I’ll be happiest in the ranger. Interior is...
The only thing I’m open to is the Chevy Colorado (probs not the canyon, cuz upgraded looks ≠better value)
I have a gmc canyon 2018. GMC has disappointed me, so I wanted to do ford.
The main seller for me is the pro trailer backup assist. Nobody else has that.
so I’ll probs still go for the...
They already figured out the issue. Just read the ford authority.
They used a bad type of metal in the engines. The engines have been updated with a different alloy
I hope they don’t kill the ranger. Looks like its reception is rough. I’m essentially only getting the new ranger cuz I love the interior/screen and it’s pro trailer backup stuff.
the outward design is not doing it any favors in my preference
Yawn. 2025 for Australia? Yeah by the time it’s readily available in America, the bev version will have been announced, plus a plethora of other electric trucks will be around
Canyon
Frontier
Colorado
Tacoma
Ranger
I actually think the ranger is the ugliest truck. Iv very much considered pushing off buying it for 3years and hoping for a mid cycle refresh for looks
I don’t trust phev, studies show the most reliable is gas, then hybrid, then plug in hybrid.
more things to go wrong. And with fords record these days…I’d wait at least a few years for a ranger hybrid to work out the problems.
my gmc canyon transmission has been a real nightmare.Gotta give...
Wow. Y’all are either very bored or need a life.
I really don’t know why ppl bother arguing with ppl on the internet. It appears nobody can have an intellectual dispassionate conversation these days
