I put mine in the corner of the little arch above the center console. I took it out and drilled a 9/32" hole, popped the led in and put it back in. I routed the wire down following the cable for the airbag light (I stuck a fish tape up from the glove box side to pull it down).

I still had a copy on my phone. See attached! Do also note the LED is sold separately if you want it... I tried to buy it from a Ford dealer, but they had it marked as needing to be installed by a dealer so they refused to sell it without a $70 install fee, so I ended up buying that on ebay.
