Agreed on grab handles and rear vents.
Without getting too greedy, Iād say they should also redesign the rear under seat storage compartment and throw in 60/40 rear folding bench
PPF is great but it is very expensive to get installed as it requires a lot of labor.
Be careful not to go through car washes or spray pressure washers too close to the edges of the film.
This is more of a precautionary worry of mine, but I donāt like the idea that anyone can walk up to my truck and pour something into the tank.
I donāt have any true āenemiesā to worry about, but you never know what kind of mischief people concoct in their brains.
having a locking gas cap in my...
I think the only real answer for this is that Fordās strategy team made the decision that taking away these features in the US market would encourage buyers to step up and pay more for a full-size f-150.
all of those features are on the f-150, so it keeps us midsize buyers wanting more and...
Great additions-
I personally think a hybrid powertrain is a bad idea. I specifically did not consider a Tacoma because of it.
I plan to keep the truck for 10+ years and want to avoid those battery/electric issues down the line.
The 2.3 is plenty powerful enough and is likely the most...
Hi All!
Having owned the US SPEC 6th Gen XLT FX4 for 3 months now, I thought I was qualified to provide some constructive feedback on areas I think the truck could be improved. Feel free to add on
Overall, I am very happy with purchase and 10/10 would buy again.
Areas of improvement...
I purchased a 2024 Colorado ZR2 and promptly had a buy back due to issues.
Ended up purchasing a 24 XLT and have been problem free thus far. Would have gotten a Raptor had I found one in my spec at that time.
The Ranger has been great
WOW. That is actually unbelievable from an engineering standpoint. I can understand something heavy on the roof of the cab causing issues, but they literally designed the bed rails to support a cap, wild they wouldnāt design the chassis toā¦
Great looking truck.
Not to give you more work, but as a wheel/tire novice, how did you know what to order prior the install?
if I wanted to put your rims on my stock 24ā XLT, would I have offset issues?
Also- Iām assuming I could maybe fit up to a 32ā tire on the stock suspension?
this is all...
Thank you for the update! Iād anticipate this is 1-2 hours of labor, so an extra ~$200 for an install if not a little more.
Crazy situation that Ford has put them and us in⦠I certainly wouldnāt want to be the test subject for thisā¦
can Anyone chime in about the international market trucks...
This should be a Manufacturer Recall fix- Truck buyers don't anticipate that you need to install this to use a toolbox or a cap/canopy.
Its a bit of false advertising in my opinion that the trucks need this to do basic truck things
Iām very tempted by this aux panel, but I have limited experience with wiring, so am a little hesitant.
looks like an easy panel replacement for the trim. Would be interesting to see a radar detector mounted within or on top of this as well -...
looks like this is the case for any cap-
ford has these bed/frame braces listed for both Raptor and non-Raptor models

Agreed! I love my XLT, but I do have a little bit of regret not having the built in aux switches from the Raptor, and the upper dash box from the Lariot.
Iām trying to fill the void with accessories but Iām striking out finding very many!
