Thank you for the update! I’d anticipate this is 1-2 hours of labor, so an extra ~$200 for an install if not a little more. Crazy situation that Ford has put them and us in… I certainly wouldn’t want to be the test subject for this… can Anyone chime in about the international market trucks...

This should be a Manufacturer Recall fix- Truck buyers don't anticipate that you need to install this to use a toolbox or a cap/canopy. Its a bit of false advertising in my opinion that the trucks need this to do basic truck things

Agreed! I love my XLT, but I do have a little bit of regret not having the built in aux switches from the Raptor, and the upper dash box from the Lariot. I’m trying to fill the void with accessories but I’m striking out finding very many!
