Technically, it's not the first year for these trucks. This generation has been around since 2022, mainly in Australia.
Mine was built in September 2024. My only complaint is some rattling from the lock/memory buttons in the doors when listening to anything with modest amounts of bass.
Contact the owner of the dealer and complain. Hit social media, leave poor reviews, complain to Ford corporate, etc. Keep up the pressure.
If they still don't budge, the other option is to take them to small claims court. In most states it's a small fee, some paperwork, and you don't need a...
I had this exact same issue when I plugged mine into a Dell laptop. I tried like 5 different cables, regular USB vs a USB 3.0 port, etc. and it still did the same thing. The screen turns on and then fades away like turning the power off on an old Gameboy or something, yeah? I plugged it into my...
Did you get yours replaced? Post a video of a cold start with the hood open so that we can compare.
I'm at 4k miles now and no change in sound. And that's with starting it on these bitter cold single digit days.
I'm not worrying about it.
I just double checked the manual (pg. 406) and it looks like the 2nd dot is "ok", but not ideal. It's listed as the maximum, with the nominal spot being just at the end of the crosshatched area. Realistically, if you shoot for the center between the dots you'll be fine (which is what I've always...
The correct oil level is the center of the two dots, but really anywhere in the crosshatched area is completely fine. If you filled it to the "full dot", which is not in the crosshatched area, you overfilled it. Probably not enough to cause an issue, but you shouldn't have put that much oil in.
I'm planning on doing oil changes myself. Already purchased a Ronin easy oil drain. Changing oil is super easy on these trucks. I've typically just followed the oil life % in the truck itself, since it accounts for oil age, temperature, engine RPM, etc.
Unless anything significant changes, I'll...
I mean, a hill like that in deep snow I'd probably engage both lockers (why not? that's part of what I bought the truck for) and try it in 4H first, then 4L if that didn't work. However, in any scenario I would have turned traction control completely off to begin with. I'm personally very...
All of these issues could have been avoided by holding the traction control button until it was fully off OR just putting the truck in 4LO where traction control is completely disabled by default.
I also took a chance recently on the grill light kit and was pretty disappointed. It is painfully obvious with them physically in hand that they're not designed for those 3 pockets on our Raptors. You'll also need to be careful drilling the holes for the wires because a 3/8" drill bit is just a...
I'm pretty sure that's just the muffler you dented. The cats are tucked up behind the engine. They're actually kinda hard for someone to get to from underneath the truck, thankfully.
Just got mine flashed. Wow. The increased torque and better shift points are super noticeable. Interested to see how much more performance I get after the ECU finishes learning.
Lol, yeah I gave up on trying to upload a video directly here. Site seems very laggy today.
Anyway, the hood insulation seems to make a huge difference. I heard that slight rattle from mine for the first time ever when I had the hood open. With it closed I can just barely hear it when I know...
