After watching Josh's Grill video a few times I spent about an hour dismantling the front of the Ranger this weekend preparing to install the siren and get an idea on light mounts for the flashers. Of course I managed to lose a couple clips down by the skid plate and decided it was probably...
Will miss my 1/4 chance on the 12th due to work conflict. May try to sneak down in September. Till then I'm working up the courage to start taking things apart to install the lights and siren. We had a practical SAR call out last week and the lights would be useful if future searches go into the...
Only bodies I intend to put in the back seats are emergency hauls when out on a call and my four legged co- pilot. Personally I'd rather not have the seats in the back at all but was not able to bring myself to pay for the delete.

Interesting choice with the offset, I'm assuming you don't intend to take it off road with the highway tires of course. She should go nice and straight down the track though. I'm wondering what Calvin will be relieving himself on in the future...;)
Since I'm just doing it for fun I doubt I will...
12th of next month I will do my first 1/4 mile passes! I'm hoping its a good day, recently the weather up here has been bi-polar. Looking forward to a picture of the new tires when you get them Doc!
Most boring drag race ever...
I had a great time today but it's hard to get a good ET when your qualifying runs are early morning and your first race is in the afternoon. She just wants to go FAST! We both broke out but my opponent broke out less...lol! Still trying not to sleep at the tree...
Well done! What altitude were you at? Temp, weather conditions? I had to stay off the good rubber due to my off road tires. If I really want to do better I would probably need to put some highway slicks on since I'm not going to trailer my Ranger to the track...lol! Will try and put my slips up...
I don't like sharing my toys ;). I wanted a six foot bed and this was the only way I could get it. Still miffed I was not able to get the better sound system in the xcab but if I need to I have two 10" subs I can throw in from my car...;)
Thanks! I'm going to a nearby eighth mile track this weekend. I'm hoping to get down to the 1/4 mile track next month if my work scheduled allows if not I'll try for August. Not being too serious with it, just having fun. I'll have to get some pictures and video put up if I can get some good shots.
This weekend the Ranger will head down the track again. I'm hoping to improve a bit on the tree and have some fun. After which I get to start putting on extras! Till then here's some shots of the Ranger out and about! She looks good dirty :D
My truck also came from the factory with tire PSI set to 47-48. The Hankook Dynapro ATM's installed are rated at MAX 51 PSI. I have a feeling they filled the tires to max pressure and that is how it was delivered to me. Before I took it on the 1/8th mile track I brought it down to the door jamb...
Took the Ranger on the track last weekend, being my first time ever I'm not going to post the reaction time ;) Weather was sunny with the track a little over 100 Degrees, Elevation 2,254.

Stats for Nerds :D:

Debated doing a hard roll up or the cassette option on my own Ranger, felt the hard roll up offered more room in the bed and a bit of protection for the back glass with items in the back. Your tonneau looks pretty nice!
