    I figured that much it’s why I’m leaning a lot more towards the Ranger 2.3L. And with the new added port fuel injection and the 10R60 transmission makes it a good package for what I’m seeing.. the also plus side, it’s all gear driven oil pump and timing chain, no wet belts whatsoever..

    Thank you for the heads up on tranny issues, it’s been something on the back of my head about the 10R80. From the latest 2025-2026 Ranger it’s said to be 10R60, will just have to see..

    Thanks for the heads up cause my thoughts is keeping the truck for the next 10-15 yrs and just meticulously maintaining it. Which is what I’ve done with my 2nd Gen Taco(600+K miles before I sold it)

    Not yet, I’m in the process of researching at this point and possibly in a month or two, pull the trigger on a FX4 Off Road Crew cab XLT with New 2.3L. Also I’m just seeing what new colors Ford will come out with for 2026 and if there’s any changes with the new already done we’ll 2025 2.3L.

    So, I’ve never owned a Ranger. All I’ve known is Toyota 2nd and 3rd Generation’s. I really like the 2025-26 Ranger FX4 OFF ROAD 300A package. My question is, what do I need to watch out for concerning the new Generation Ranger? Reliability? Maintenance? Etc… thanks guys I can use all the help..
