    A 2.7 Ranger Tremor would be cool, but I seriously doubt it would ever happen because they'd rather push you into the Ranger Raptor and get another $10K out of you. Could be wrong though. I was wrong once before. That was a memorable day.

    This is the main thing I'm looking for. As much as has changed between the 5G Ranger I have and the 6G Ranger, there's not enough difference between them with the 2.3L in place. The 2.3 is a great engine, I just want a little more power. If I can't swing a newer Ranger, I'll probably tune my 2.3...

    I know this. Also, talked to other dealers on the other side of the mountain, and while neither of them would say when the 2.7 will be available for order, they both confirmed they knew about it and would call me when it was available.

    Well, ingnorance can be fixed. Integrity can't. Having said that, there are several Ford dealers right on the other side of the mountain.

    Oh, I'm sure the owner is keeping the Raptor for himself if they're getting one. But WHY would they think that the 2.7 is only going to Raptor? This crew is more honest if somewhat less informed than the last crew that owned this dealership, and I'll take ignorant honesty over knowlegeable...

    My local dealer insists the 2.7 is going in the Raptor (!) and that the Ranger will ONLY have the 2.3. No matter what I've tried to tell them or get them to ask that's the story they're sticking with. They also state they aren't getting any Raptors on allocation. So whenever the 2.7 comes...

    Any word on when we'll be able to order a Ranger with the 2.7? My local dealership insists that the 2.7 will only be available on the Raptor (!) and that they're not getting any Raptors on allocation.
