Do whatever you want but understand it is at risk. If you have read this whole thread, a lot of people have dived into this to figure out how to add a aftermarket TBC for those with the standard tow package. In that journey, it has been discovered there is wiring difference between those with no...
Coming from the Jeep world, I am kind of spoiled by it but also disappointed in how slow the aftermarket has embraced the North American market 6G Ranger launch with many assumptions based off either the Global model and/or Bronco platform it shares a bit of commonality. To many assumptions are...
Cargo lights are microprocessor controled coming from the Body Control Module (BCM). Internal within the BCM is a common power bus (RPI BUS) that controls other microprocessor controlled circuits like the fog, rear park lamps, overhead console & truck bed lamps that feed off a common fuse F1...
Atlas brand tires were somewhat popular as a house brand tire for small independent tire shops and gas service stations when that was a thing back in the 1980's and prior.
I have seen more Nissan Frontier commercials more than anything else in the mid size market. Even Toyota ads just seem to be blanket brand ads that they are some "Toyotathon" sale but nothing model specific. Nothing on the Ranger.
I will admit I watch very little broadcast or cable TV anymore.

They are call "scrivets". You have to use a phillips driver and with a very lite to almost no pressure try to unscrew them. Most will not screw out all the way but once the head raises off the base, you can pull the center section out and then the base is easy to pull out.
Looks good. I would like to know how they hold over time?
I dealt with the same style two piece lug nuts on FCA vehicles and came to realize that while they still had the rust jacking/swelling issues but the trade off for one piece chrome ones is that eventually the chrome would chip and rust...
Glad it worked out for you.
What amazes me and is not just unique to Ford, is that their process to address issues like this is so inflexible that they have to spend what would be gobs amount more money processing a Lemon Law claim rather than just drill down and get the parts and know how in...
I am not excusing it but just giving an example that you are not alone in this regard of having to wait with no ETA.
Between this being a first year vehicle here in the USA/Canada, the UAW strike last year and basically a delayed roll out this year half way into the model year, the whole...
