Yes the double pressing of the R button is to customize your most preferred driving set up. I have it configured to turn off auto start - stop feature, normal exhaust, sport suspension and sport steering.
It is by far the best cover I've ever had. The fit and flush mount is great. I put 1/4 on the rear seal to help with the tailgate cover and sealed the accessory caps on the bed rails with black silicon. This helps with water leaks but as someone posted you will never get 100% water proof...
I call it the new dealer scam. If you look at the ikon web site it is marketed to dealers. They install it to track their inventory and theft and then add it to your final cost. In my case $500 which I didn't catch on closing (too excited to get in the RR).
Here are the things I did so far.
1. Came with a factory bed liner but if you don't have one get it ASAP
2. Rubber bed mat from Ford on top of the spray in.
3. Tonneau cover from Leer Ford branded. Almost water proof and lays very flat.
4. If you do a tonneau cover seal the bed fender caps...
I would pull the trigger now if you find the color you want. There aren't many options and you can add on bed liner, keypad and mud flaps if you want. I bet the first deliveries of 2026 will not be until April... why wait! Resale value would be the only reason to wait.
I had the same option and bought it. Wasn't a fan of the keypad but love it now! I had them put on the mudflaps before I picked it up. That Shelter Green with the gold and green metal flakes is beautiful... so much so I put PPF on the hood, front fenders and rear fender wall and ceramic...
I was thinking the same thing so I Googled it.
" The tire chalk test finds the ideal tire pressure for even tread wear by drawing a chalk line across cold tires, driving a short distance (forward and back), and checking if the chalk wears evenly across the entire tread or just the center/edges...
I googled it and it summed up what I would do with the exception of the plug. If you can take it to a tire shop and have them put a patch from the inside is best in my opinion.
" Tire plugs are good for temporary emergency fixes on small (under 1/4 inch) punctures in the tread area only...
Find one at another dealership at MSRP and tell your dealer if they want your business match the deal Don't give them any other details and be prepared to walk. There are plenty around for MSRP.
I bought my second RR from Lone McArthur in Selina, KS. They had several in stock and last I saw...
I hope you get it soon as I was in Hawaii over the summer and to say the Toyota Tacoma is popular is an understatement. It is the national truck of Hawaii! Show them boys what a RR looks like and can do!
I have the center console storage and the hidden console in the arm rest. I love the hidden console to put emergency cash, gift cards and wallet in there!

Be glad they don't offer sunroofs. I have had them on my F150 and Escape and both of them failed, the F150 broke twice, once under Ford PremiumCare warranty and once with out. The 2022 Escape had the roll back roof liner break and to my dismay found out that Ford PremiumCare warranty does not...
