I finally got tired of hitting....eeerrrr....forgetting to hit the Stop-Start button to turn the damn thing off, so I ordered the 4Dtech device. Getting the connector that plugs into the computer module behind the glove box was not the easiest thing to do, about 5 minutes of messing about and I...
When I purchased I wrote into the deal sheet, "Removal of all dealer branding, internal or external to the vehicle, is required prior to delivery and acquisition by the buyer. All dealer installed components not already agreed to in this purchase agreement will be removed, deactivated or made...
Considering the top posted speed of most interstates is 70 or 75 you're talking about 30+ over posted. In most jurisdictions it is a felony and you get hand cuffed, end up in the local jail to see a judge and see your vehicle impounded and very likely confiscated.
Around here, in Florida...
Hope you enjoy your stay in the County lock up when you're caught running at those speeds. You don't get a speeding ticket, you get a felony charge with your truck impounded and confiscated.
Good points all. I'd add that, yes, Ford continues to roll with recalls on their trucks but it appears virtually all the recalls are preventative in nature, as in Ford is finding a potential problem and fixing it before it becomes a real problem and blows up on them. While GM, Toyota and...
I'm sure it's just me, however when it comes to automobile shopping time Consumer Reports IS NOT something I use as research material, I'll use Edmunds well before checking out CS. I don't know what criteria they use for auto rankings they rarely seems to align with actually using the auto.
I'm not thrilled with all of the aftermarket plastic fasteners, as I mentioned in an earlier post above, I lost 3 of 4 flaps within 2 weeks (during Florida rainy season) due to the plastic fasteners failing. I ended up going with WeatherTech flaps and their metal no-drill fasteners.
I think a good way to get what your needing is take some pictures of the line and the area it's in then get with the parts department of your dealer. They should be able to determine what you're needing pretty quickly and get it on order if it's not something they keep in stock.
I had Muslogy flaps on the truck....for about 2 weeks until I noticed three of the 4 of them were gone. I hit the Central Florida rainy season with very heavy rain and deep water standing on I-4; I'm pretty sure the flaps got ripped off due to deep water because of the fastners Muslogy uses -...
I will add, in Europe, Asia, Australia/New Zealand, Africa, South America Ranger is THE truck Ford sells. F-150 is in those markets but is sold in very small numbers because Ranger fits those markets in a way F-150 doesn't. As a result we see all of those model variants and features there that...
It's been said many many times by many folks here, but it's worth saying again.
Ford brought back Ranger to grab a portion of mid-sized truck sales they understood they were missing, buyers that wouldn't be upsold into an F-150 trim. Ford introduced Maverick to restart the small truck segment...
