The factory boards are not very good. They leave a gap between the board and body big enough that you can see the mounting brackets. Look at Westin SG6. They have a rubber seal between the board and body. They are also aluminum so much lighter and will not rust if you live in an that uses...
Very happy with the look and ride. That is it for mods for me. Added Ford splash guards, tilting rear seat headrests, Borla exhaust, tires, Westin running boards, Putco black chrome letters on tailgate, console box organizer, if I want anything else I might as well go the Raptor or wait for a...
Installed the Goodyear Workhorse AT 265/70/18 on the stock rims and no lift/level or wheel spacers .They ride so much better than the Territorys. A bit pricier than the Territorys but I was able to sell the stock Territorys for $550 (900 miles) which helped. The new tires fit fine and in my...
I am sure Ford is buying the running boards from some aftermarket manufacturer. You may find a cap if you can figure out who actually made the board. Look for any markings, etc. On the bottom of the board and then work google.
Yes but most likely it is over reading speed now.....I think OEMs do this intentionally to avoid any liability regarding accidents, traffic violations. etc. According to a GPS my Ranger is over reading by almost 3 mph. Will test it again after tire install but expecting it to still be under...
Sidewall not sidewalks ....lol. I will be trying to put on 265/70/18's on my 2025 Lariat next early next week. If you can wait I will know for sure what fits. By measuring they should fit but sometimes tire sizes run odd. My biggest problem was finding lightweight tires. The stock tires are...
Should be 1.01 inches taller. The formula is ( Profile as a percentage X width in mm) x 2 sidewalks. Take that answer x .0394 converts to inches. Take that product + 18 inches rim size = total tire height.
Example for 255/70/18: (.7 x 255 = 178.5) x 2 = 357 x .0394 = 14.07...
Iagree the BFG KO3 & 2's are way to heavy for this truck. Durations look like a good option.
Did you have your speedo and transmission shift points adjusted with the larger tires?
Do you know of anyone running 265/70/18 on the stock rims and stock suspension (no lift, level) and no wheel spacers? With no rubbing or other clearance issues? TIA
I was wondering if anyone out there installed 265/70/18 tires on the stock 55 degree 18 inch wheels without any lift, spacers, new control arms, etc. Basically on stock 2025 suspension without any clearance issues? Any pics would be appreciated! TIA
Just looking at my Ranger (18" wheels) and I do not think any tire wider than the stock 255 will work. The control arm knuckle is already extremely close to the tire. Less than a finger thickness so I am guessing 1/2 clearance max. A 265 tire is about .4 inches wider than the 255. So that...
I just started my 2025 Lariat with the app and there is no climate control screen. I just have the icon of the wrench ( right bottom) and vehicle icon on the left bottom. No temp, fan blade heated seats, etc. icons like your screen shot. And I do have automatic software updates turned on...
