    6x9 will gave more low freq bass. I have focal 6x9 690s in front. After adding a jl 10" shallow sub in a stealth box and amp I wonder if the 6.5 would have better mids. Just the sound deadening will help the stock speaker.

    Nice! It is going to look banging with the signature drls! At least once you get them in. I did mine yesterday , its every bit the bitch as posted here to install. 7 hours to remove and replace 3 screws on both sides:shock:

    Marantz 2285 with hd88 speakers. Amazing how good 50 year old hi fi's can sound. I have its little brother 2245 in the bedroom with hd55. Both recapped and built like tanks.

    I used to live in Marble Falls. Lots of offroading in the area if you like rock and cactus. Some really great trails further west in the Enchanted Rock area. Now I live in North Va but offroad in NC mostly in the Pisgah Forest
