  1. Falken Rubitrek 265/70/17 installed

Before- After- There's about a pinky width between the tire and upper control arm. Good enough?
  2. Eibach Pro 2.0 installed on 2024 Ranger XLT

Last pic- put on some falken rubitreks. 265/70/17 As for the new shocks, the biggest change I can report is how they eat up washboard/pothole dirt roads. Not nearly as jarring.
  3. Eibach Pro 2.0 installed on 2024 Ranger XLT

The only tricky part for me was getting the stock shocks out. Specifically, the bottom 2 bolts didn't come out with a hammer. Or putting a floor jack under them. The instructions did mention they might need to be heated up. I don't have a torch so I used a grinder and a recip saw to cut the...
  4. Eibach Pro 2.0 installed on 2024 Ranger XLT

Agree with rb205. The stock shocks are cushier, but not by a ton. In my experience having a topper or any extra weight in the back made the ride better. I'm guessing the eibachs will improve the handling on rougher gravel roads for example. TBD For what it's worth, I bought the eibachs 75%...
  5. Eibach Pro 2.0 installed on 2024 Ranger XLT

It's described as stage 2. Not even sure what that means, but I like how they feel. Some people describe them as in between bilsteins and stock. Best in town example I can give is turning out of an alley to a street- small dip. With the stock shocks there was noticeable side to side "wobble"...
  6. Eibach Pro 2.0 installed on 2024 Ranger XLT

Had about a 3 inch difference. Originally bought 1 1/2 inch spacers from truxx. Think those would look nice, leave a little rake. Might lower my fronts a little more.
  7. Eibach Pro 2.0 installed on 2024 Ranger XLT

Installed Eibach's kit last weekend. I have the 24' 2.3 XLT. It was a little tricky for a mechanically challenged person like myself, but it was worth it. Makes the truck a little less wobbly, side to side. I did lower the fronts 1/4 - 1/2 inch. Not hard to do. 265/70 Falken Rubitreks...
  8. My FX4 Build

Looks good! When you put the spacers in, did you have to take the strut assembly out and flip it around?
  9. Roof Rack Options for 24+ Rangers????

Check into rack warehouse. Yakima setup for naked roof is 578. Probably more if you sub in better crossbars. They have other brands too.
  10. Ikamper DLX Mini

Went with an Amazon brand of bars. Chopped off 6 inches of length because they stuck out too much. They are a little over 6 inches tall and the tonneau can be rolled up, but not easily.
  11. Unplugging EPAS for leveling install

Hi, I recently purchased a 1.5" level kit from truxxx. Their instructions include unplugging the electronic power assist steering plugs. Is this a truely necessary step? If so, what do they look like, and where are they? A picture would be cool. I'm planning on installing the levels via...
  12. "Standby"

    Thanks. Makes sense
  13. "Standby"

Yep, cold day here. Didn't use remote start (should have). Just started it up with the key. Nothing came through on the app. There was just a small graphic of a Ranger, and the word standby above it. (On the digital dash screen)
  14. "Standby"

Hello. Ranger sat outside today for a few hours. 17 to 20 below temps. Started it up on lunch break and the dash screen had "standby" under the speedometer. Curious what this meant. Truck started and ran fine. Steering was very stiff.
  15. Harbor Freight shovel mounts

Bottom T30 screws for outlet molding work great for attaching the rubber mounts. Just take out the hard plastic piece (pictured with label) and replace replace with a washer. 3 bucks each.
