Replacing the Taco with a 2.7l XLT with Tech and advanced towing. Build date is Oct 7.
Gulfstream 19TWD, ~3800lb with out food, water, 4200lb GVWR. ~500lb tongue weight.
Question: If I haven't received a response from Ford on my 2.7l XLT order (other than a 45 day email that they have my order) should I assume that it's not going to be built? Will it be converted to a MY25 order or does my dealer have to do that?
Just got an email that I'm scheduled for Oct 7...

Ordered a 2.7l XLT on May 7. Dealer said 3-6 months. So far I've revieved the standard 45 day email from Ford stating that they are "working on scheduling".
Yup, just visited the dealership and added the locker. He changed my priority to a 5, the highest he could. He said the 2.7 l engine is the gating item for the build.
I'm ordering a XLT with the 2.7 l v6. I currently have a 2021 Tacoma TRD OR. I never use the MTS or locking rear diff. Toyota has good traction control without being in a MTS (Multi Terrain Select) mode. Does the vanilla Ford 4WD make use of braking tires without traction?
My use case is daily...
