Today when I got in the truck the center display didn’t light up. It lit up about a minute later. Then this afternoon, about 8 hours later, it lit up when I stared the truck then reset itself a few seconds later. I tried to make a phone call after that but there was no audio. I pulled over...
Some dealer in Atlanta wanted to charge me 20 over. A friend in Michigan offered me one for 4 over, but with shipping it wouldn't have made sense. I paid 5 over for mine last week. I'd be surprised if this NJ one actually sells for MSRP.
I can't seem to find the part on-line...do you have a link?
Also, should I do this BEFORE I have it Line-X'd? Or at least remove the panel for the Line-Xing?
I picked up the truck on a rainy day and there was some mud splatter on the fender flares forward of the rear axles, on the body (not the plastic).
What are you going to do for rocker protection? Line-X does factory paint code color matching.
Got mine Friday and noticed that the door doesn't quite close without a firm slam, and the audible alert will go off. I'll check for that foam. Thanks all.
Page 156 of the manual would seem to indicate that that is indeed the case:
"WHAT IS THE MEMORY FUNCTION
The memory function recalls the driver seat position."
That's it, nothing else listed.
Actually the manual isn’t clear on that. Below is a screenshot from it that I interpret to mean “you can get away with 87 but you’ll get better performance by using 91.” Also there’s nothing specific about fuel in the "Raptor Unique Features" section of the Ranger manual nor the Raptor...
Not looking to start a big discussion, but are we all agreed that 91 from reputable purveyors is the proper grade for US models? Thats what I inferred from the manual but there was no Raptor specific fuel recommendation.
