  1. Anyone with a 2024 with electric brake booster had a recall??

I did see a recall for the 2025's brake booster. Nothing so far on my ' 24. I'm wondering if they use the same booster, or if it was a software glitch? I hated the brakes for the first 1000 miles or so, felt like I needed 2 feet on the pedal. Now at ~13k miles, either they have gotten better, or...
  2. Tailgate Cables of Uneven Length on a 2025 Ranger Raptor

It is the tailgate that is twisted or adjusted to fit the bed lines. My cables are exactly the same length. It is a non-issue.
  3. Add a transmission cooler to tow Casita Camper?

I'll assume you have picked up the Casita? How did it pull? Transmission temps OK? Inquiring minds and all that, as I have a '24 XLT with 2.7 and am considering ordering a Casita early next year. What model did you get? Maybe we need a Casita thread, there seem to be several owners on this board.
  4. Financing??

I didn't finance, but would always recccomend going through a credity union for better rates. Sometimes the dealer incentives are better , but require top credit scores.
  5. Apple IOS 26 pretty cool - we finally got CarPlay widgets (clocks, weather and more)

There are large and small screens, I have the 12" display.
  6. Apple IOS 26 pretty cool - we finally got CarPlay widgets (clocks, weather and more)

My "regular" Ranger has knobs. I believe every model has them.
  7. FordPass & Apple Watch

I've been using the Ford Pass app on my Apple watch since last fall. One thing to beware of is relying on it in areas of low to no cell service. Use the optional keypad as backup. I like to walk the dog at the lake and lock my phone and keys in the truck as I don't like to carry stuff.
  8. White Item Between Cab and Truck Box

Anyone know if the 2025's have it?
  9. Add a transmission cooler to tow Casita Camper?

I'm assuming you have 4x4, 4x2 may not have these. To get to the guages I go to right side of the steering wheel buttons, hit the menu button, scroll down to Off-Road, hit Ok, scroll down to vehicle guages, hit OK.
  10. Add a transmission cooler to tow Casita Camper?

I've towed a bit with this trailer, total weight about 3500lb in temps up to 104F and this is as high as my trans temp guage ever gets. This is the normal level even when not towing. Today I was towing at 73F. It has never gone higher than this.

  12. If your Ranger should have Global Windows (remote windows) but doesn't...

And some people like to do things theirselves and not take the truck to the dealer.
  13. Add a transmission cooler to tow Casita Camper?

Jason is correct on the three. Number swould be nice, but I don't believe necessary. Drive the truck without towing observing what is normal for your truck. Establish a baseline normal. Then watch when towing. Notice that the transmission temp guage has a yellow area then finally red at the...
  14. Add a transmission cooler to tow Casita Camper?

Transmission temp is available in the Off Road guages.
  15. Ford Fail - Bedside Mount Bolts Way too Tight

One of the benefits of a Line-X spray in bedliner. They removed all of the bolts and tie downs prior to spraying. They plugged the holes before spraying then put the bolts back in snug. The company that the Ford factory uses to do them before delivery just sprays everything.
  16. If your Ranger should have Global Windows (remote windows) but doesn't...

You can do this yourself with ForScan. I did mine this spring.
  17. How many miles of your Ranger 2024!?

Since 9/24, 12,874 miles. I'm retired and ride a motorcycle most of the time...
  18. So What Engine Oil Are Y'all Running/Planning on Running?

I just changed oil yesterday. Kirkland 5w-30 synthetic and a Motorcraft filter. Last two changes were SuperTech 5w-30 and Motorcraft filters. First change was Motorcraft oil and filter.
  19. 2025 2.7 What Octane?

    87 only.
  20. 2.7 oil dipstick with “H” stamp

OK, I posted earlier that my '24 2.7 has an H and measured at the full mark at ~4200 miles. Also my p/n is the same stamped into the blade of the dipstick. Also I measured from the bottom of the flange on the handle to the full hole and I get exactly 18 3/4" for reference. I changed the oil and...
