Interested in splash guards to try and minimize sand blasting of the paint, no plans to install bigger tires at the moment, what did you go with? I see Ford offers two sizes.
For those who have the factory brake controller, it there a connector on the back of it which is easily accessible if I wanted to temporarily disable it? One of the things I tow has a surge brake that uses the blue wire to power an indicator light in the tow vehicle that I plug into the tow...
Looking for ideas and write ups for those who have added electrical circuits to their Rangers. Maybe a small underhood fuse box or similar. I'm planning an ARB compressor and a 12 volt outlet in the bed and looking for ideas on a clean way to do that and without interfering with the battery...
I didn't see a thread specifically for this so I started this thread for people with aftermarket running boards, or knowledge of aftermarket running boards, for 2024 and up Rangers. Not steps or sliders, just running boards. Fixed or powered. lets see them and hear about them. I'm going to be in...
I see this mentioned but I'm not altogether clear, without running boards will a stock XLT be at more risk to rock chips or is this only an issue with oversize tires?
Anyone in the Tucson area? I'll be taking delivery of my XLT 4x4 2.7 next month and wouldn't mind doing a few off pavement trips, maybe some of the dirt roads around Redington and over to Benson, Happy Valley or the other direction toward Oracle, San Manuel and Winkelman. Nothing real crazy (I...
Since this will be my first vehicle ever with a modem that I can connect to my cell service provider (for a fee) I'm assuming I will be able to make and receive calls without even having my phone with me? I'm also assuming I will be able to stream Pandora, Spotify, Soma FM, Sirius and others...
AE used to be the go to before Forscan showed up on the scene. I have an older version with the Ford bundle that worked great on my 7.3 diesel and I'm wondering if I should update it. Does anyone know if AE has more capabilities than Forscan for the Ranger? It quite pricey compared to Forscan.
So in 50 years of driving I have never bought or ordered a new vehicle (except for work vans for my business from a commercial dealer). Even though I ordered from the GM of our local dealership who is the brother of one of my fishing buddies I need to know what to expect on delivery. I already...
In my research looking for sleeping/camping options for the Ranger I came across the Aliner Switchback. Only 375 lbs and 30 seconds to deploy. https://aliner.com/switchback/
I ordered my 2025 with the factory bed liner. I still have over a month before my build is scheduled to make changes and I am having second thoughts about the bed liner. I am planning on a fiberglass Leer or A.R.E. topper and thinking I might get a rubber mat for the floor or a Bedrug that...
This seems to be the most active Ranger forum out there (at least for 2024-2025) so I'm starting a few threads here.
This one is about dash cams and what folks are using, or plan to use. I came across this one...
Will my new Ranger receive them through the modem even if I do not have WIFI enabled? (I realize I have to enable automatic updates or give permission). Would it be better to receive the updates over WIFI?
If I should order them. My buddy says yes but he's short and "round" to put it nicely and he has to have them on his F150 or he wouldn't be able to reach anything in the bed. I'm 6'2" and not round:D To me the truck does look slightly better without them. I may have to stop at the dealership...
I was reading the owner's manual last night under fuel quality and found the following 2 statements which are somewhat contradictory. What are you burning in your 2024-2025 2.7?
