Exactly. Rings are only there to align when tightening. Method wheels are usually lug centering but it's not always easy to be perfect. When tight, the bond between the face of the wheel and the hub is the structural part.

I use a Vevor cargo bag when I have stuff that I need 100% dry. Quite cheap, sturdy and zipped. Easy to access and it does almost the full bed size

I was literally installing a Audison Voce AV3.0 in the center location after work. I had the kicker KSC350 coax but going to a midrange for better match with the rest of the build (Audison amps and Hertz speakers). With a DSP ill be able to tune it so It doesn't interfere with the front staging.

You probably want to intercept the signals at the B pillars, not in the door. Colors can differs so you should look for 2 twisted wires together and do a simple 9v battery test to determine the polarity.
