i wonder (hoping to be true) whether ranger raptors and bronco raptors got different (ie stronger) internals with 10R60 transmission than explorer ST which got lower boosted power and torque plus towing restriction.
I heard New Ranger Super Duty version will come with bigger fuel tank. Will it be something that we can order in US?? Im sure it will be pricey but it will be OEM quality.
While I know that the "travel" will only provide the delta between full compression and extension, not the actual length of the shocks, I put those up as a FYI.
BTW, shock travel length is directly correlated to wheel travel length via Motion Ratio. In Toyota IFS, it was roughly 1:2. I'm...
Hawk LTS pads are also good upgrade over OEM. They are almost as aggressive as EBC yellow but much quieter (i.e. less squeak at low speed). only thing is they don't make one for Ranger Raptors yet....
Will this act like a rear trail arm skid as well? Rear lower arm mounts are one of the lowest points of the truck (and Broncos), and i hit them way more than the rear diff. Based on my last offroading trip in UT & CO, I'm just as concerned about protecting the rear lower arm mounts as the...
Has anyone installed Dobinson rear spring on their Ranger Raptor?? Im wondering how much lift it will give to my saggy Raptor. I have Retractable cover + RTT which are about 270lb combined with cross bars. Then there will be another 300-400lb of camping gears that i need to carry for...
A workable solution is to accelerate the global warming to end this winter asap ???
I thought pressure washing had fixed the issue but it was unusual warm weather down at Georgia that masked the problem. The dreadful chimes came right back with sub-freezing temp…
This is exactly what I comfirmed from my last Colorado/Utah overlanding trip. With RTT and gears loaded in the truck bed and rear seat, there was about 2” sag for rear axle side resulting near same amt of fender gap for front and rear.
Is there any manufacturer making springs for our rear Fox...
I’ve been having the same problem as well. Mine is always driverside front sensor that throws the error. Error pops up sporadically during warm temp (like 60f+) but almost guaranteed in cold (ie less than 40f)
Thanks Kyle for the installation video. Took a leap of faith here and ordered the signature lux fog light kit in Yellow. Hopefully they arrive within next two week before my Colorado trip.
