At the mount the floor pan has these step outs only in this one location. Each side. At Back.
On the front two mounts it does not have this step out. They did not consider this in there Fabrication. They should be set closer. Almost needs a spacer there. Because of this bolts are not long enough.
My thoughts:
The bolting to the floor pan into the Thread Nut inserts. Aligns up well. 6 Fasteners.
Pinch Weld orientation not so good. I do not like trial and error.
It would be a lot of work to get the holes centered into the pinch weld.
The Drilling of the holes with a 90 Degree drill...
Good info !
Makes sense not to put pressure on the transmission to hold vehicle.
I find the delay before the Auto Hold is applied is good. Seems to let you have a light pressure on pedal before Auto Hold is applied.
I think I will leave the Auto Hold set to apply. Its easier to have it engage...
I turned the Auto Hold off.
When not on it will not apply the brakes when parked.
Maybe it holds the fluid. The way it seems to release when Auto Hold is on this could be the case.
I am not sure how the Electric E Brake works. Is it applying an Actuator to push the pads on.
I switched the...
Yes, Auto Hold.
Just makes things more relaxing. You have to be careful with it.
You could touch the pedals by accident and roll into car in front of you.
I also think if you drive another car you maybe think you put it on.
Yes, I would say so.
I have the E Brake hold activated through the screen. Just to clarify that I depress the brake peddle at a stop sign. The light comes on in the bottom right of the gauge cluster. Then it holds and I can take my foot off the brake.
Once Parked, when I put it in gear it...
I have a late 2025 XLT.
My E Brake activates when truck is put in park.
i actually do not like the E brake applied every time. Would rather put it on myself.
i feel there is too much asked of the e brake.
i activated the E brake hold.
I find it irritating when you drive away when the truck...
I was going to purchase a 5G Ranger. That was a minor revamp.
The 2025 2.3L MPC sold me.
With new vehicles there's way to many sensors. I cam from a 4G Ranger. 2.3L, standard, roll up windows. Very basic.
Hopefully this is my last vehicle. I will be putting an extended warranty on it.
The...
Great !.
I am just putting my info on Car Fax for my services. Have to load my receipts and pictures ie. odometer.
Since there is so many sensors I will be doing a long term Warranty.
Maybe this will be my last vehicle. I hope.

When will you change the Transmission oil /...
Routine maintenance and inspection of Braking System.
I only put on average 7000 KM a year on the Ranger. City, with short commute.
Every 7K i will rotate the tires and inspect the brakes.
Would like to clean the Brakes. Garage mechanic or outside.
What would you suggest.
Is it good to...
I found the location. Yes just vertical bars for gauges. Will have to look at what those are measured in.
The first one, shows Turbo Boost. Will have to accelerate hard to see if i get boost.
Middle Oil pressure runs about 1/4 of vertical bar. Goes up a bit when accelerating. Would have been...
I will look at Off Road. I have looked under Gauge view. Just can find oil temp there.
I had a tire puncture. Through motorcycling I have some good Button Plugs. The button expands inside the tire. Works Well. The Tire pressure screen is very helpful.
Its odd that they do not suggest to drain fluid earlier.
You change the breakin engine oil at very low mileage.
Would be nice to have a lift. I cannot even do an oil change without getting oil on ground.
I would not recommend getting it flushed. Can sometimes cause more problems.
The Torque...
How about the transfer case.
Purchase a tranny pan with a drain plug. Some will be deeper holding more fluid.
If a new pan is going to be put on, much easier to carefully drill hole in plastic pan and let drain.\
The Raptor might have an exhaust pipe in the way which generally boils down to a...
Yes, even unidirectional tires should alway's rotate in the same direction.
Once you have done front to back and criss cross a couple times have the tires removed and flipped. Inside of tire is on outside.
Be careful with tire shops. They say they have taken them off the rims and remounted...
