  1. Differences between hitched trucks and no hitch trucks

These tabs are for a C-clamp. It holds the bumper bar in place when you take the bolts out. I guess it has a hole, so you could also use a bolt.
  2. Did i buy the right truck?

Vehicles generally get better mileage as they break in a bit. My 2.3 with 12k is getting better mileage than when it was new. If I only drive in town, stop and go, then I don't expect better than 20mpg. In mixed driving, I've gotten 24.5 mpg on my last several tanks.
  3. No trailer detected when plugged in

My truck doesn't have an issue with the LEDs on my trailer or hitch packer. Both are all led with no resisters or anything. Usually if a trailer doesn't register, it's a ground. Most trailers ground the lights to some random spot on the frame at the end of the harness. Corrosion, or rust...
  4. 2025 12V Bed Plug

There are a couple of threads around here where people added the 12v .Here's one with pics The panel still exists, but at $265, I'd wire a plug myself.
  5. What did you DO TO your 6G Ranger today? 🧰 🛠️ ⚙️ 🧽

On Racks I prefer lashing straps to ratcheting ones. They hold tight and you don't have to worry about the hooks and buckles banging into things. I have the bucket from this brand and it meets most of my needs on my rack. I think these would work on your basket too. In use on my 5g. They hold...
  6. Chrome package exhaust tip, I need one.

I don't think the Chrome package has an exhaust tip that can be removed. I think it has a different rear exhaust than the Sport . Here's a pic of mine.
  7. Backing Up-Blind spot issue when nothing there

This is way more sensitive on my 6G than my 5G was. Honestly, the threshold should be angled "up" a bit. If it gives me problems backing out, I just hit the toggle on the screen. It always defaults to on on the next revrerse, so it won't nerf you in an unfamiliar spot. It is too sensitive...
  8. Low profile tool box

I have a cover now, so I wish I took a picture when I had it in my bed. The box has a slot for mounting right in the middle of the part that sits on the rail. The slot lined up perfectly with the holes in the front mounting point. You just need a bolt. 63" wide fits great, but I'm assuming the...
  9. Looking for a toolbox to sit on top of the bed rail

These boxes are a little pricier than some, but are also nice. The lids is stiff, so you can easily shut it with one hand the latches stay adjusted. I've had Tractor Supply and Better Built boxes in the past and the UWS one is better.
  10. One thing I seriously dislike about new vehicles...

Headrests from the 5G Ranger SuperCabs work as well. and they match exactly.
  11. Copilot 360 option

It's a glitch with the build tool. If you can option advanced tow, you have the Ford Copilot. All XLT and above have it afaik.
  12. How many miles of your Ranger 2024!?

    Almost 12K. I've had it 13 months.
  13. Ford Accessories List & Installation Instructions for 6th Gen 2024+ Rangers

I feel like someone on here said that the Ford TBC kit (redarc) for the Bronco worked on Rangers with the basic tow package. It tried searching and had no luck. Maybe someone who has better Google-Fu than I do can help.
  14. After a year of ownership, Edmunds still prefers Ranger over Colorado and Tacoma

My doors eventually shut normally, but my kids ride back there a lot, so they get a lot of use. When it was new, we had to open and re-shut the doors a lot though.
  15. do u carry spare fuses? OK to store in unused slots?

I'd personally keep the fuses in the case the came it which hopefully has the fuse puller. As fuses have become smaller, they've become a bigger pain to pull and install. I'm not going to place them in blank slots because I wouldn't want to pull them. I don't off-road really, so the only...
  16. Lariat Top Glove Box Install on XLT

Have you installed it? I keep coming back to this tread to see of picture of the driver’s trim installed, but haven’t seen one yet. Please post one when you can.
  17. Rear end lowering?

On the 5G, lowering the rear end a little was very difficult. I believe our trucks are similar. You can move the axle, but it is a big drop, which would mean lowering the front if level is the goal.
  18. Fuel Economy Graph - Doesn't Read Above 30ish MPG

I kind of like that they are being realistic. I could probably get over 30 mpg average on a tank if I planned everything perfectly and never needed to stop, but there's no way that's going to happen in real life. The top being the best imaginable is better than it being wasted space.
  19. 2025 discontinued 12v plug in bed.

This eBay seller has panel options for Rangers. I randomly came across them one day while looking for Ranger stuff.
