I would refute the "Perform like mine" claim. The 2.3l ecoboost makes the bulk of its power under 1700 rpm. The ecoboosts are actually very good at having the power come in down low. The 2.3l makes it's peak torque at 3000 rpm (310lb-ft) where as the 3.8l is at 4400 rpm (281 lb-ft). Horsepower...

Fords non base seats have been pretty comfortable for a while. Even my 2018 Taurus with the heated leather seats is super comfortable.

The ranger has physical controls for everything I need to use frequently. For some reason I laugh at the Taco's tiny volume knob.

My XLT is 42k with X-Plan. A taco with similar tech is way more than that, plus I can't even order exactly what I wanted. (That's putting aside the towing capacity being less than desirable for me, which is a deal breaker either way.)
