So I took my XLT to the dealer for service and the trailer tow recall.
Problem is the same day the recall was done Ford tried to do the same recall OTA. Well, the OTA recall can't complete because it's already been done. Now when I start the truck I'm getting messages telling me that the recall...
There are two screws holding this in place. I need to temporarily remove it but I'm not sure if its holding anything else under it. Have removed screws before only to have other parts move out of place. Thanks for your help.
What do they take apart to do the recall? If they drop the headliner I’ll need to take my dash cam and wires out. I would like to wire the camera to the mirror but haven’t quite figured that out yet.
I have a Tackform to install in my XLT and I'm wondering what this "vent" is just above the infotainment screen. I need to figure out a path for wiring and that might work. Or not. Any ideas what it's for? Thanks.
After months of waiting I finally got a set of Weathertech mud flaps. I've always put these on my trucks and they work great. They were a bit of a pain to put on but I think they look great.
Tried the search but know luck on covers. Painting yes. Covers no. And I really don't want to drop the skid plate to remove the hooks just to paint them. So i'm looking to source covers for my tow hooks. The ones on Amazon are geared toward the F150 and the Bronco. Has anyone found these that...
I'I'm about to install an auxbeam switch panel in my 24 XLT. I'm using a Ram mount out of the cubby in front of the USB ports. I was wondering if anyone knows what is under the plastic. The truck is loaded and I'm finding modules and wiring in every possible place. Plan B is VHB tape. Thanks.
And what is it? I don't think so. This is a picture of between the cab and the bed or tub or whatever it's called. I know the picture sucks but it looks like a foam piece that's not attached to anything. It's on the drivers side.
I've always bought Ford vehicles. Never even considered anything else. It's very rare that that I have ever had to have warranty work done on one. Well, my new Ranger XLT is beginning to be something of a disappointment. I've only put 200 miles on it and already things are popping up that are...
