I installed this light bar yesterday, and to Foutz credit, it took only about an hour, and everything went smoothly. I wired up a DD fog light, and a Baja Design 80XL driving light to get me by until I can spend more time installing lights.
Yes.
They self adjust to the level they are adjusted to, so they stay same height with different payloads. Jump up on the tailgate and watch them go up and come back down to the height they are set at. Half the people replying on FB aren't as smart as a dog.
Yes.
The self leveling headlamps keep the lights at the adjusted height when the payload changes. If you put a lift in the front only you will definitely have to re-adjust your headlights. It's simple to do. All you need is an extra long philips head screw driver, a tape measure, and a wall.
I find it hard to believe that only 1 % of us would care about de-tuning our trucks with poor light placement.
"Intercoolers are designed to make your engine more efficient at generating horsepower. But they do not themselves add horsepower.'
"The greater the temperature drop of the intake air...
This will cause heat soak if you run the engine hard, towing, driving fast, off roading. The intercooler heats up and becomes less efficient causing the turbos to heat up, and the ECU to cut fuel or timing to save the motor. A lot of us put after-market intercoolers in our trucks to improve, or...
Here's what I went with. Just got the bar, hoping to install this week.

Nothing beats going to Raptor Assault to learn how to properly use these trucks to their maximum capabilities. Obviously you don't drive in deep snow, but, you will know how and when to use the different drive modes and lockers. This is me driving.
I would have guessed Sport 4A. That's the quickest in my F150 Raptors. The 4A has a better feel than 4H in the F150s.... I only have about 2k miles on my RR that has a FP tune. I haven't had a chance to do any timed runs yet, but it goes from 50mph to 109 mph quick.
They are not DOT approved for street use. So no. Not illegal as much as not approved. There are so many wheels that are not true bead-locks, that are made to look like real bead-locks, I don't know how you'd get caught? I've never heard of anybody being cited for running them on the street...
Being less bright does not make a fog light better!
The stock fog lights are useless for fog.
More powerful is better to a point, as long as they are SAE J583 rated, have a good cut off, and can be aimed low so as not to blind on coming traffic. They improve near vehicle vision, and...
There's a bracket out there to mount a Diode Dynamic SCC1 light in place of the OEM fog light. Super simple install, brighter than OEM, and I hooked it to my upfitter switches so I can leave it on. It is however not as bright as your DD SCC3 light, but an affordable clean looking alternative to...
I think attention must be given to blocking too much air flow to the radiator, intercooler, and other coolers over looks. IMO, the space between the lower intercooler hole and grill is the best location for large lights.
The headlights are self leveling to the height they are adjusted to. This feature is to keep your headlights shining at the same adjusted height when you have weight in the truck. If you shine your lights on a wall, stand on the rear bumper, you will see the headlights go up, then come back...
