2024 Lariat FX4 (non RR)
1: No modifications
2: No Forscan alterations
3: No tune
4: The issue has happened 3 times for me, although I can't remember which mode it shifted into. For all 3 instances, it shifted into 4wd, and at least one of those times it activated the rear lockers all on its...
I like your little storage caddy next to the wheel well. Who makes that? Also noticed your blue anodized nuts...is that just for aesthetics, or are those hex heads?
Hi all,
Got different shoes for my Lariat, and would like to see if anyone is interested in 18" Lariat wheels and Goodyear tires that have less than 1000 miles on them. Been in dry storage and covered since they were removed, they are in excellent like-new condition. $800 takes the set of 4...
Excellent condition Diamondback 180 "butterfly wing" hard bed cover. If you don't know: all aluminum construction, rugged black "diamond plate" exterior finish, haul capacity is 400 pounds, both "wings" open from the bed side of the truck and stay open with dashpot dampers, and have key-locking...
What did they take away from the Lariat? I bought a 24 Lariat for work, and I like it a lot and was thinking I may get a 26 or 27 Lariat for myself, but hadn't realized they were removing features? Haven't been looking on the lot at them yet.
Thank you, yeah, they are nice hooks and I'm sure stronger than the stock hooks, but like you and others have said, the commonality amongst all options is the bolt. Btw, how did you support your intercooler without that same tab on the Rivals?
I guess what I don't understand about buying aftermarket hooks like Rival's....isn't the stock hook rated to withstand working limits including the truck's payload? Why do we need these aftermarket hooks? Why are we assuming the OEM hooks wouldn't hold? Wouldn't that be a HUGE liability to...
I just realized I previously bought some other smaller brackets, but haven't tried them yet. If they don't work I'll follow up with you on these. Definitely a great design!
Don't spacers run the risk of breaking your front suspension setup? I've seen it mentioned on this site and in YouTube videos, but I'm not a seasoned expert. Many more of you on this site seem to be seasoned experts as well, but don't mention this. It would seem to me to be a reason to rule...
My 2.7 at work regularly gets 20mpg long term average, and I live in the mountains and put 265/70/R17 BFG KO3s on it. I wouldn't put any larger even on a slightly lifted Tremor. I hear RRs regularly get 16, so there's a bit of a difference. To me anyways.
Yes! The ORV package that everyone at the auto show, including Ford, was saying was going to be an option or parts available....and then nothing happened.
I know there are a lot of RR fans, but I don't need or want the gas guzzling 3.0 and I'll never enter a Baja race. I have the Lariat 2.7...
You have a point, but as for me, if I'm dropping $50k on something it better be a color I like. I WILL walk away from buying if it's not the right color, but it doesn't mean I'll go buy something else in its place. It means I'll be patient to get something worth $50k.
I agree with a lot of...
