Thank you, yeah, they are nice hooks and I'm sure stronger than the stock hooks, but like you and others have said, the commonality amongst all options is the bolt. Btw, how did you support your intercooler without that same tab on the Rivals?
I guess what I don't understand about buying aftermarket hooks like Rival's....isn't the stock hook rated to withstand working limits including the truck's payload? Why do we need these aftermarket hooks? Why are we assuming the OEM hooks wouldn't hold? Wouldn't that be a HUGE liability to...
I just realized I previously bought some other smaller brackets, but haven't tried them yet. If they don't work I'll follow up with you on these. Definitely a great design!
Don't spacers run the risk of breaking your front suspension setup? I've seen it mentioned on this site and in YouTube videos, but I'm not a seasoned expert. Many more of you on this site seem to be seasoned experts as well, but don't mention this. It would seem to me to be a reason to rule...
My 2.7 at work regularly gets 20mpg long term average, and I live in the mountains and put 265/70/R17 BFG KO3s on it. I wouldn't put any larger even on a slightly lifted Tremor. I hear RRs regularly get 16, so there's a bit of a difference. To me anyways.
Yes! The ORV package that everyone at the auto show, including Ford, was saying was going to be an option or parts available....and then nothing happened.
I know there are a lot of RR fans, but I don't need or want the gas guzzling 3.0 and I'll never enter a Baja race. I have the Lariat 2.7...
You have a point, but as for me, if I'm dropping $50k on something it better be a color I like. I WILL walk away from buying if it's not the right color, but it doesn't mean I'll go buy something else in its place. It means I'll be patient to get something worth $50k.
I agree with a lot of...
Sorry, forgot some of the rules! Certainly don't want more than these cost at the dealer. $400 OBO. And here's a pic just now in the dark with a note withy username and the date.
Only about 500 miles on these before I pulled them off my 2024 Lariat. Essentially new condition. No damage whatsoever. Available in the Bay Area in California, or central coast. Also occasionally travel to Sacramento.
Hey @CamTalksTech did you figure out how to remove your bracket? Mine on my FX4 Lariat is the correct orientation, but it seems to have rivets that attach is to the plastic molding. Was curious if you were successful. I'd like to move mine, potentially, or figure out how to use a more sturdy...
Got my hands on a 6G Lariat FX4 V6, but really struggling with the limitations in being able to mount auxiliary lighting up front. I recently purchased a KC flex era 10" bar (the one with 4 lights in combo), and was envisioning mounting it in that gap below the front license plate. But then I...
If you switch from an 18" wheel to a 17", do you have to get new TPMS sensors, or have them reprogrammed, or can you just swap out plug and play style?
