From what DD told me, the 7pin system won't work because the Rangers Trailer module thinks there is a wire fault, and you will get an error on the dash. My factory hitch has no hole, and I would have to drill it. Would really like to figure out how to make it work!

I purchased the paper one too ($60) found out it’s the 2024 version for the Ranger. To someone’s point above, at least I can write in it and put a few post-it tabs on the things I want to find quickly.

In the last year, I've only had one update. I just checked, and it was the break booster reprogram. No others are listed on the screen. I did read somewhere that Ford won't clear the notice until it's verified by a shop. (from their site) Starting March 17, the update will be available...

Just installed the ClearVu camera washer kit and only took about an hour. Would have been faster but decided to run the line up the fender wall to hide the line and make it a cleaner install. Really like the idea and the price was a bit more than i wanted but now that is done I’m ok with it...
