I called Eibach about that a few months ago and they said they will NOT fit. They are currently starting to roll out 24+ Ranger parts, 2WD seems to have some options now with 4WD slowly coming out.
Damn, maybe I did pay 1/2 an hour. I always do my own work so I haven't paid for labor in a long time, I just assumed it was still around 100-120/hour.
After 100+ miles of driving the 2.3 tuned I can say my gas mileage is exactly where it was before (21.3 mpg). Maybe just slightly improved. Keep in mind, this includes the time I spent getting on it a bit to see the change in performance.
Thats crazy. I've installed many tunes myself and even the most annoying ones took less than 30-40 mins. My buddy works at the Ford dealer by me and I stood back there with him while he installed it. Took maybe 30 mins while BSing. They charged me 1 hour of labor (115ish).
Installed mine today, I commented about it on another thread but I like it so far. Not too many miles on it but definitely feels smoother and low end torque is very nice. I haven't seen a difference in MPG's yet but I only put about 30 miles on it.
Yea, 91+ is what the tune requires but everything here is 93 luckily.
Also, I just noticed I misread the dyno graph Ford had posted so my only concern was just from my own incompetence lol.
I just had the Ford Performance tune installed today. My initial impressions are pretty positive. The powertrain feels much smoother. The low-end torque is very welcomed. I haven’t had a chance to drive it much, just my 23-mile commute to work, mixed highway and stop and go. I reset my gas...
