Anyone installed Ford's Procal Performance Tune on 2024 Ranger XLT 2.3 4X4?

I mentioned this possibility on another thread of the same subject. It was stated there, in absolute terms, that no one cares about mileage.

finally got to try it ai run ECO mode in the city SPORT on the highway Got 24 MPG SPORT doing 70MPH waiting for next fill to see what overall is. Love the vehicle in SPORT BIG difference from ECO.

I'm still averaging over 21mpg after nearly 500 miles. I'm mostly in Normal and Sport modes.

Just did my XLT 2.3 L and it was still there for adjustment. not much else really to speak of.
still waiting to run down the 89 octane gas and then load up 93 and put it on a Dyno.

How involved is the installation of the performance tune? Im not in a position to have it dealer installed and haven't ever done one of these myself. Just wondering if its going to be overly technical for my (lack of) skillset.

Mine isn't bad. I get the same mileage as i did before. If you hotrod stock, you will hotrod now so no changes will happen.

If you drive normal, it will stay normal

No, its super easy. Easier than installing a radio or anything like that. You just plug it in and choose some options on the screen but be sure you have a battery charger plugged in in case you battery is a little low so you dont lock up your ecu

To anyone that tows and got it installed on the 2.3L, do you notice any major benefits or improvements when pulling a moderate sized (3k-5klbs) load? Compared to towing without it.

Truck pulls the camper fine now but I wouldn't mind the tune just to fix those rough shift points.
