One thing you could do for the original salesman is leave a google review mentioning how easy they were to work with, even if you backed out of the deal. Generally this still helps your guy in some way.
As someone in the same boat I don't think there's a reason to feel bad...but I do still feel...
It's interesting how it says "This program will be in effect through July 31, 2025".
This makes me wonder...will it start being added from the factory after July 2025?
Never seen any indication we were getting that feature on the ranger...
which is probably a good thing https://www.thedrive.com/news/ford-bronco-owners-say-trail-turn-assist-is-breaking-diffs-and-warranty-wont-cover-it
same. the video when their 24 tacoma broke while offroading really made it clear how clueless the TFL guys are.
but i still watch them because they put out a lot of pretty decent videos.
I think LEER is already selling toppers. A forum member mentioned ordering one from them a month or two ago, plus Ford is offering their "official topper" which is also a LEER rebranded.
ARE is also already selling them, i know because I'm in the process of ordering one.
I was really close to buying that one but decided not to. I stopped seeing it on autotrader today so I'm assuming it's gone. There have been a few delivered to Jack Schmitt Ford on the east side and a few more look to be showing up at Dave Sinclair, Beuckman ford, and Pettus Ford. just none in...
Depends on the lighting. Sometimes it's green, sometimes it's blue, sometimes it's grey, sometimes it's nearly white.
They offer it on the outgoing rangers and broncos (and maybe f150s?) so you should be able to find one pretty easily.
For what it's worth I have a second reservation on a truck with a 4/3 blend date and it's still "in production" no updates. I was hoping it would be shipped immediately but it's now in purgatory with my initial 1/18 blend date reservation.
Seems pretty random on what builds get shipped...
I think the real dirt mountain is just a bit further to the east of that location, closer to the airport. Still I haven't seen anyone mention this address on the forums yet.
I've been built since 1/18 so I might be right there with you.
All the recent media videos put out last month are quoted as "summer 2024 availability" which likely means you can order it in summer 2024 and job 2 will start late summer or fall 2024.
it wouldn't surprise me if 2.7 rangers aren't delivered till early 2025
I doubt the ranger will ever get updated to sync5. Once a vehicle ships with a given version of sync, I don't think Ford really ever pushes major version updates until the next generation is released. You'll only ever get minor version OTA updates to fix bugs or add small bits of functionality...
What app (within carplay) are you using to browse for your local music on your phone? I'm guessing it's just the default iPhone Music or whatever. It might be worth checking alternative apps that CarPlay supports and maybe the functionality would less restrictive in those.
I'm an android user...
This is the way to do it.
I had an old iPod that i got refurbished to add a bigger and better hard drive. I keep my entire music library on this ipod and always keep it plugged into the car. It lets me listen to my entire library without worrying my music stopping because i'm in a cellular...
you paid less than like 75% of the people on this website i think. most people paid $5k over and some paid 10k. a few found honest dealers with no ADM but the majority paid a markup. $2k isn't bad at all
