There will be a difference especially in fuel economy and some throttle response because there the motor is not struggling for air. However, the PCM isnt just gonna change right away its gonna learn that is is getting more airflow at the change of the throttle position.
Im hoping to get that shipped to me, but the reason is for more air flow into the motor, the stock tubing and filter has a smaller CFM, i did it on previous trucks and the air flow is much greater with a newer intake filter.
I wish I just pulled the plug and got a RR instead of a normal ranger, but I say keep the shelby it maintains its value when you dont sell it to a dealer.
So when I installed mine on a 24, there instructions where a bit weird in how they tell you to put the L bracket up front up against the bulk head. The picture shows the bracket sitting on top on the bulk head but when I installed it it would bind and have that gap. Once I moved the rails back...

I've started to notice that more, I think its the seals or the vacuum it creates is not escaping through the vents that are usually in the back of the cab. My 06 f250's doors were easy to close.
Just installed mine yesterday looks great. Not surprised that the XLT trim piece broke off some of the tabs for the blue clips; always manage to break.
