Prerunner bolt-on bumper fabricated DIY

I built this concept prerunner bumper last weekend. Bolts to the front frame horns on my truck. So I had to trim a little of the plastic. I can make an option to change the mounting points to where the tow hooks bolt. I’m going to make a winch mount next weekend and add a skid plate.

I'm assuming you did the welding. Look good. I like it. But it's probably not available, and requires drilling holes in the truck. ? What exactly does it bolt to?

Looks really nice! Great job! I admire your motivation. If you were going to reconfigure it to bolt to the location of the tow hooks maybe you can then somehow have the tow hooks mounted to the pre-runner bumper so they are not totally eliminated. Just a thought.

I believe in his post he said the pre-runner bumper that he made bolts to the frame horns. And because he had to do some cutting to modify the front valance so that he could bolt it to those frame horns he was thinking about modifying it so that it would bolt where the tow hooks are. That way the plastic wouldn't have to be cut on any additional units that he made. If I read it correctly.

It’s available on my website. It bolts to the front frame horns. No drilling. Uses factory bolts into the frame.

Yes that’s the idea. I will work on it this weekend.

My truck doesn’t have the radar advance cruise control. If your truck has that option I just wouldn’t put the two vertical tubes in the middle and it would work.
