How to post photos on forum?

I cannot seem to find out how to post photos on the forum to go with helpful information I'd like o post!
Anyone explain his for me? When I try and attach photos it does nothing!?

Did you bother looking at the tool bar that's part of where you type your text? There's literally a picture icon and when you hover over it it says "Insert image." Then you add your image and click on upload.

I generally use the “Attach files” button on the lower left corner. Photo Library is an option to choose from.
I’m using an iPAD, so it may be different on different device .

I tried the "attach files" it goes through the procedure to post a photo but does nothing. Strange thing is it will let me post a photo to an existing thread just not the one I'm working on to pass on information!?

I have noticed lately it might take a couple of tries to attach a picture. You also have to wait until it completely uploads before posting. Second time it worked

I've found thru trial and error that pics work best on sites like this of you edit/resize pics until they are several sizes smaller than a phone's camera resolution.
