If you don't mind losing the value of the bedliner you paid for on a lease turn-in, then the dealer will have no issues with an item that will help with resale. Even if it doesn't add dollar value to the terms.
I have one on driver side. I figured I'd only use the outlets when stopped and can move box easily. I didn't have to remove any tie downs to do the driver side and it doesn't look like it sticks into the bed anymore than the wheel wells so I'd guess a 4x8 sheet would still fit?
Mine (OEM) is fine but the hinges are disappointing. Does the Real Truck version have better hinges? I have a spray in bedliner and a bed mat so the 'swing out' is a bit of an effort...not big deal though.
I would hope the pickup is too high to catch it. The Ronin style has the magnet to help with metal debris. But the one of the purposes of the pan is to keep that stuff down there and out of circulation along with the filter. I'm not too concerned about it though.
I made a note of this when I installed it. I will discuss with service writer and I usually wait for the truck when oil is changed. So if there are questions I'm there to handle it. I will handle most oil changes myself though.
Changed mine on the ground with little problem. I added the aftermarket plug adapter to make it cleaner. If you elect to stay stock, remember to throw some rags on the crossmember near the drain to minimize a mess. I have the 2.7l.
