Hi all, I just got a 2025 Ranger, and the sales people told me on a lease that I could add a spray in liner, and they are adamant that they are right. I checked with Ford Credit and they said no changes could be made to the vehicle. But if I am being honest, the person I spoke with sounded like she had no clue what a spray in liner even is.

Anyone know is correct? My sales guy is telling me that they all do it and have never had issues turning it in. I am using the Ford Dealerships own contractor to do it.

I never thought about it and don't know the official fine print. But how would they even notice 3yr later when you turn in? Bed liner won't be on the window sticker but lots of trucks have dealer installed window tint, Bed liner, etc. Just shrug and say "came that way"?

Good point. For now I ended up just getting a bed mat and a tailgate cover. I'll look into the spray in later.

To help you feel even better about getting the bedliner, keep in mind it will likely prevent you from having to pay for "excessive wear and tear" at lease turn in. Typically, lessors are more concerned with modifications like lifts, exhaust and performance tunes.

don't take the sticker off the bed side though. my buddy leased a trd pro tacoma about 8 months ago and it had white bedside stickers on the black bed. he removed them and toyota said he will have to pay for them when he turns it in. that would suck

If you don't mind losing the value of the bedliner you paid for on a lease turn-in, then the dealer will have no issues with an item that will help with resale. Even if it doesn't add dollar value to the terms.
