I went WAY low tech on a chase light install. I just used tap connections on the brake and blinker wires at the rear of the truck and ran the wires between the bed and the cab. For the chase spots I ran a relay and switch from the battery/cab

Buy an after market drain 0lug like UPR or similar. These plastic plugs are junk. I cannot believe a 40k plus vehicle is using such junk.

It is much, much easier than the wheel well. I put a pad over the front corner near the battery and lay over it, reach down and boom…off.

not sure why you would cut it and reach even farther in from the side…..but to each his own.

Easily accessible even for me with short arms. I did mine last week with a simple socjet wrench and filter wrench attachment.
