I’ve designed and 3D printed a bracket to hold a couple of rock lights to function like chase lights. I am working on building a wiring harness to connect to one of the rear aux switches which are near the hitch. My question is:

What’s the best way to get my wiring out of the cab towards the rear??

thanks in advance, yes I know I’m missing a screw.

I went WAY low tech on a chase light install. I just used tap connections on the brake and blinker wires at the rear of the truck and ran the wires between the bed and the cab. For the chase spots I ran a relay and switch from the battery/cab

I would suggest the rear vents by removing the plastic covers behind the rear seats, pretty easy I had all that outto drop my headliner.

Off topic but depending on where you are, if its dusty those lights will basically be invisible to people behind you.

yea it looks good! I was behind a few trucks the other weekend in some really dusty stuff and they had BD S2's in the third brake light and some other LED's and I couldn't see their trucks until I was right up on them. I'm going to probably upgrade my S2's from the sports to the Pros for that reason.

What you have is better than nothing but just figured I'd give a little heads up based off of my experience.

No that’s definitely helpful! Thank you. I may add some removable lights to the mounting points on the bed rails if I end up needing them
