Your welcome. Plus nuts are the way to go and there are some parts you could use a screw / nut but there are some areas where a plus nut is really the only practical solution.
Just try not to hit the U channel towards the cab side of the bed, but its not the end of the world if you do. Assuming...
I'm of the opinion that the two biggest factors if you go with something other than MC (again, there may very well be oils that are better, but gotta verify with several UOAs and how much better is debatable) are:
1. Full synthetic base stock so long term you dont end up with slugging that...
I like the wheels on the Tremor proto in that image!
Looks like its running 265/70R17 KO3s, so they obviously dont want to step up to 33s like on my Raptor, guessing to maintain product spacing.
Love it, sometimes we just gotta stop arguing and laugh about the absurdity of it all .
Seriously, who argues about what motor oil you put in your car.....
CP-Es performed well on the Mustang EBs, they do a lot of work on flow pathways and I would say they are worth the cost if you value quality and efficiency. You will most likely experience least amount of lag with CP-E than with most other designs, generally it should drive like stock but with...
I wouldn't put too much merit on a YouTuber showing intake valve deposites. Every GDI engine will show deposits at relatively low mileage (and im not alone in noting that), especially a vehicle that does a lot of idling and low speed driving in hot weather.
But the problem is most people switch...
It's designed for convection cooling at lower speeds. Allows the hottest air to seep out of the extractors in conjunction with the radiator fans pulling in fresh air. Most of the hot air is actually exhausted out under the truck as it flows back against the firewall and "down under" the vehicle...
My question is, why use something other than MC 5W-30 FS? I get that people want to save money, but at the end of the day, is it worth unintended consequences?
For the 2.7L and 3.0L, you now have to add in wet belt compatibility since the oil pump is belt driven. If it meets the Ford spec, then...
Got a Raptor with Pro Cal tune, stock tires still, tonneau cover and I typically get between 17 to 20 on the highway depending on the headwind's / weather conditions. My long-term average is 16.7 MPG and while I don't keep my foot in it 24/7, like others, I like to play with my Raptor regularly...
If you buy the Ford Performance versions of the 703's for the Bronco's directly from Ford Performance then you don't need hub centric rings as they are custom made to be hub centric for Ford's hub size (93mm).
I got Method's directly from Method with the universal 106mm hub bore since I wanted...
BTW, I have nothing against RTR, I ran their Tech 7's on my 2016 Mustang GT in a square setup, great wheels, but I think their wheels are more geared toward on-road use than off-road use.
Personally, I would suggest going with Method over RTR for off-road use. Ford Performance uses their MR207 Forged wheels on the race truck and sells the 703's on their site for the Bronco's (also fits the Ranger). Method's standard wheels have proven to be very druable in off-roading. They are...
Manufacturing defects happen. Do a google search of for brand new engines ticking from GM, Dodge, Ford, Toyota etc. They unfortunately do happen, but that's what warranties are for! It stucks big time, but IF they fix it, it's documented and I would ask for a 100k extended powertrain warranty...
Also, I wanted to point out that Ford doesn't need the Ranger to be a massive seller in the NA to keep it in production and remain profitable. There are many parts shared with the T6 based Bronco's, but don't forget that the Ranger is their global truck platform, it's a big seller in Australia...
Depends on how much you value power from a driving enjoyment standpoint and how much you tow.
For regular towing, most people would agree the larger displacement 2.7L is better than the 2.3L, especially uphill with higher tow weights. More power and torque, the 2.7L is not working as hard as...
Stopped at the top of said 400ft high pile of sand.
Worked my way from left (easy side) all the way to the right (hardest side) and never got stuck once. Did the dune hills 30-35 times! Loved it, second favorite was the drag strip with water puddles.
This was the beach, water was cool...
Whatever black lug nuts Tire Track included with my order for my 705's. You could always reach out to them, I'm assuming they are custom made for Tire Track specifically for aftermarket wheels. They are not spline drive either, I can get a typical thin walled six-point socket in there just fine...
