I've used 4H a couple of times now this winter due to snow. I've also used 4L when stuck in snow and 4H would not get me out. 4L walked right out. Also used 4L to get up the ramps when changing oil.

I was concerned like you, so I waited about 2 months before having it done. My dealer picked up the truck mid-morning and brought it back washed late afternoon. It turned out great. Nothing damaged and no new rattles.

Buy the driver from FMW along with the screws. I think it's a #14.

I forgot to mention, if you go with these screws, do not use an impact driver on them. Hand tighten and loosen only. You will break the small tabs of the driver bit with an impact driver.

That's a clean looking set. Are the orange letters an order option or did you put those on yourself? I have only seen them available without letters. And do you feel they are large enough or should they be a bit larger? I'm leaning towards these.

I saw this cut-away view earlier and thought it was not possible to get past the check valve to the bottom of the pan. Apparently, it is possible to reach bottom. The real proof will be how much oil can be extracted. I will post my results in 4000 miles (probably 8 to 9 months the way I drive).
