Hope your dealer is offering under MSRP on a 2025 this close to the end of the year. If not I'd recommend shopping around. A lot of dealers are selling below MSRP. Awesome color for sure.
I've installed similar tanks in 3 hours. I would expect a good shop with experience to estimate 4 hours. A shop that is doing it for the first time 6+ hours.
I bought Ranger Raptor because it ticked a number of boxes (Power, Looks, Features, It is a truck). I drove it for about 9 months and never really felt it was sufficient. It felt cheap inside comparatively. BUT... for what you get in a RR, the price is absolutely fair. If you like V8 power...
I watched the live feed. There was someone on the Score broadcast that said they broke a shock. Later in the race they broke a second shock based on the commentary.
I did the regular spring. I was soooo much happier with the Goat 2/1 setup. I did not take my Raptor offroad so can't say how they would perform. On road the truck was back to stock ride. With the springs Sport mode was useless. With the Goat 2/1 setup Soft was useful again.
I will...
The guy that bought my rear springs did the same thing. He had a bunch of stuff I his bed and a heavy bed cover. He installed the rear springs on his raptor to help carry the load. He seemed to really like the setup.
The front springs were too stiff for me, so I removed them. There are two issues imo.
1.) Hyperco increased the spring rate or the front springs too much. The diameter of the front stock springs is .685. The Hyperco springs are .725. They used a thicker spring on the front, with more...
Wouldn't it be nice to have more range in your Ranger Raptor...? This is the perfect solution. Let me know if you have any questions, happy to answer them.
Did you update the plain English or As Built setting? On my F350 I updated the plain English setting for tank size and the DTE reads better. I don't think there are many on this board with the LRA tanks installed.
Based on my experience with changing the tanks in my Superduty. You can run it without doing any calibrations.
However, the DTE miles will be incorrect. In my other truck I used Forscan to update the fuel tank size. After updating the fuel tank size the DTE reads accurately.
