In that case you're going to be making ~505hp (crank) on pump gas, and 575hp (crank) on E50

Is that the only fin that is hurt?
I'm not sure I've seen only 1 fin get damaged THAT bad, without taking out other fins.
This looks like very lowspeed damage, if that is the only fin. Or you may just have a bad turbo from the factory.
This is normal.
If the intake is sucking in hot air from the engine bay at a stoplight, the charge temps won't be down much since air isn't passing through the air to air exchanger.
