Oh it is microguard lol. My bad been saying it wrong the whole time haha. Maybe they are i honestly haven’t seen a 2127 i just paid attention to the thread pitch. I just asked the guy at the counter for a 24 Ecoboost filter and they didn’t have the 2127 in stock but had the microguard and i knew...
well then they finally updated it as it wasn’t last month. Regardless it’s a M22-1.5 thread.
the filters that come factory are usually a different size for some odd reason at least on most of my fords. The one that came off seemed same diameter as the McGard Plus I had to put on as it was all i...
i mean i think the dealers used the motorcraft semi for the most part. I’ve been running Mobil 1 full synthetic. Walmart had the 5qt jugs on sale for 26 bucks which is like 10 off. So i grabbed a few. I’ll hope to find another sale or switch it up to Pennzoil Platinum maybe. But I’ve used...
its 5w30. I added about 5 3/4 the first change and it was near the top of the hash marks and i checked it regularly for the next few weeks to ensure level was good. I added maybe 6 this time cause i used a higher capacity filter.
If anyone is in doubt just ask for an equivalent 24+ Mustang Ecoboost filter. Although the 5.0 filter will work as it’s m22-1.5 thread pitch as well. It’s actually what i used this last change since i have 3 left over from my Mustang. It’s about an 1” taller but fits fine. I added a tad more oil...
the 910 does not fit the 25. I’ve done two changes already. I luckily had another vehicle to run out and get the correct filter as the 910 threads are too small. The manual wasn’t updated and probably cause ford kept it hush hush on the engine change for 25
fL2127 is correct. The manual is wrong with the 910 and so is he. I’ve already done 2 changes and the threads on the 910 aren’t correct for the 25 engine.
M22-1.5 is the correct thread size. The manual wasn’t up to date and I luckily had another vehicle to get a proper sized one. I asked to a 24 up Mustang Ecoboost filter.
Was trying to get a sand XLT FX4 but someone grabbed it before I could get dibs. Ended up with a BAP 4x4 XLT in Carbonized. I’m happy with it but Sand looks so good
Been driving mine from CA since Monday morning. I’m now in AR. Been getting good MPG 25+ hwy and haven’t had ideal conditions most of the time. Bad rain and winds too.
Muslogy mud flaps. Really like the ease of install and they fit great. Ford though and these stupid plastic pins with a Phillips head that doesn’t actually back out when spun is mind numbing when they continue to use these crap pins. At least i shouldn’t have to deal with them again. Might get...
lol. Sorry you don’t read well. But honestly you do what you want. The FL500s is the one ford recommends for the 5.0 engine in the Mustang and F150s.
That’s for the 5.0s. Maybe it’s the correct thread but it’s definitely not what ford says the Ecoboost Mustang should run. I think you may have looked at the wrong Mustang.
i was gonna run Fram but seeing as the manual had the wrong filter i was in a bind and grabbed the Mcgard brand from Oreillys but its a decent filter. I got the 10k one and i change at 5k so it will work for now.
