I’ve never in my life used the head rest while driving. How do you people drive like that?

That's correct, except for some reason the supplier of these seats messed up the design of the headrests angle and on top of that didn't add adjustment option, in my opinion this is something Ford should consider correcting.

Because they aren't driving around resting their head on it, Mr. Reading Comprehension. The angle of the headrest is so forward designed that's forcing them to sit with their heads tilted forward at an unnatural and uncomfortable angle to avoid the damn thing.

rofl they clearly are resting there head on it or it wouldn’t be problem. Maybe sit properly. It definitely is not at an angle that is so far forward lol.

I stuck the post into the trailer hitch and used force to push against the bend reducing the angle. You could do the same thing if you have a bench top vice to clamp your post.

I clamped my two posts in my bench vise, as close to the top where it meets the cushioned headrest as possible, then grabbed the headrest and tried to bend. I had zero luck. It was too soft and squishy.

How exactly did you do it? Thanks for the help!

Stuck the post into a trailer hitch and used my foot and weight.

I did mine, strapped to a 2x6 with floor jack handle. Now my 5’11’ frame can sit like I have always sat for 38 yrs with proper anti whiplash gap.

Great tips about bending the OEM headrests. I've never had issues with them as they are. I wonder if its my driving style, height/weight.

I sit properly and the stupid angle pushed my head forward. I hated the angle they were at.

Update: I ruined my Ranger headrest by screwing up the bend. I still had the spare Mustang headrest and tried it again and now I like it lol. When I tried the mustang headrest before and didn't like it I must've had neck pain from the Ranger one. It's still a little forward but much better than my previous review of it.
