That’s a menu-driven state, which I have turned off. I imagine it’s the same in the Lariat.

Admittedly I could only watch the first 20 seconds….didn’t see much reason to go beyond that. All of the video clips were rip-offs from other youtubers. I think I like the Lariat more. Just too cheap to buy one. However, as I close in on retirement I am reconsidering my miserly ways.

I would argue that the Raptor isn't the "top spec" but rather geared toward a different audience altogether. It's more than a mere trim package, given its unique engine, stance, and relatively low towing and payload. It's a truck that doesn't interest me in the least, but I like the other Rangers.

Removed the “Sport” decals from the back of my ‘25 XLT. They serve no purpose and would have eventually worn and looked ratty.

This only happens to mine when I start it without first pressing the brake pedal. Since auto trans vehicles used to require pressing the brake before the starter would engage (or maybe still do, depending on variables I’m unaware of), I’m already in the habit, so it’s a non-issue.

Not in Colorado. I bought my '25 in June of this year, and the dealer was more than willing to submit more than one "best offer", each with a lower price, until I finally wrote the check. The Tacoma still dominates here.

That Scamp 19' has a GVWR of 4,000 pounds, and tongue weight of 550 pounds max, well within the safe range of the Ranger. If I didn't want a topper or loss of use of the bed, I would totally consider one of those.

I wasn’t suggesting that all Maverick headrests are fixed, only those I purchased. I see in the Maverick owner's manual that some trim level (Lariat I assume) offer tilting headrests. I assume those are the "leatherette" material, which wouldn't have worked for me.

Someone had mentioned that in an earlier post, but this route made more sense for me.

The Maverick headrests are also fixed, and I am not sure of the part number; the description of the eBay auction was "22-25 Ford Maverick XL Front Seat Headrest Left or Right Side Black Cloth OEM." A friend has a '22 Maverick from which I had tested the fit in the Ranger before ordering.

Purchased a set of used Maverick headrests ('22-'26 should work) to replace the stock Ranger's, since the stock headrests tilt too far forward for my wife's tastes. Works great! Stock: Maverick headrest in my Ranger: Literal drop-in replacement, $65/ea off eBay.
