Super frustrating. Ford QC is crap these days. I still have 3 recalls that I havent had fixed yet.
I also have a drivers side door air leak noise on my 2024 Ranger XL/STX.
I've learned to live with it, but when I have a free day off I will deep dive into finding it.
It seems to be behind...
I had a a jeep kit as well for my 1997 wrangler.I needed tools to take off the hard top , fold the windshield etc. For the Ranger all I bought was the torx screwdriver for the air fliter box on my 2.3L engine. "Fix Or Repair Daily "kit is awesome :sunglasses:
I guess you shouldnt clean your windows then  It is sad that a 50K Ranger has such "cheap qualities". I bought an XL model so that I can use it as a truck and not care. I got 4 wheel drive, side steps and carpet as only options. I wish I had a defroster and side defroster...
Lots of good advice here.:)
The torx screwdriver for the air filter box cost about $7 at ACE hardware. I change out the air filter myself every 15K-20K , so every 2years is good. The cabin air filter collects a lot of dust and debris where I live. I change that every year, buy a bunch of cabin...
Sounds like a BS excuse from the dealer. ......Go to another dealer!
If I use their reasoning then If I buy aftermarket tires, then I void my entire warranty? Nope
BS meter on high :sunglasses:
So you want to put the auto workers out of work? How will that benefit us?
You like Chinese ideas ? Anything compared to Communist China is a no go in my mind:flag:
I really could care less ..........it's a truck. I use it as a truck and I dont care if my tailgate drops fast or not.
I've been driving pickups for years and never needed a strut before. I'm not a wuss!
Thats my .02 cents. Off my rant now.
Good night all:sunglasses:
ECO is too sluggish in hilly areas. flat areas at highway speeds it ok......but I dont like the slow throttle response.
SPORT is great on the highway. feels great, peppy, and powerful, but NOT for city driving.
NORMAL is my daily driving mode (when not on highway)
your mileage may vary :sunglasses:
I'm waiting until next year to get all my recalls done. I don't need somebody tearing apart my plastic trim pieces and damaging them. And definitely not waiting 24-48 hours! If my truck catches fire, so be it. I have insurance. :sunglasses:
They work great for me at 5'8 . I use them getting in and out and they are great for reaching the roof .
If you are over 6 feet tall and /or have sasquatch feet then maybe you should trade up for an F150.

100% agree. My 2024 STX came with those running boards from the factory and they were around $500-600 extra on the window sticker. I like them a lot. & I wanted a silver ranger, but ended up with Shadow Black(my 2nd choice).
