25 xl issue with fog lights

25 ranger stx, 5k miles. at times, twice. I have my head lights on auto. The left fog lamp comes on, the right one does not. If I use the switch, both of them come on. I dont think its s bulb, unless the bulb has multiple filaments.. i dont know how long this has been going on. If I remember correctly, the fog lamps only come on with dim headlights on auto. Just checking to see if anyone has saw this, if not I guess its time to let the dealer check it out.

How bright are the yellow fog lamps compared to standard?

If you have your fog lights off the left or right one will come on when you use your turn signal. It's used as a cornering light. The Lariat and Raptor have a dedicated corning light.
Yellow fog lights aren't as bright but the purpose of yellow is to cut threw fog/dust etc.

I thought the right or left light activating on a turn. Was a Lariat, Raptor aption only. So the XL has this if it has fog lights? Uses fog light instead of projector headlight lamp on higher trims?

I expected yellow lights dimmer. I prefer extra light.

I used to see my son's driver fog was always on on his focus st. We never figured out why.


But yes, our xl/stx fog lights act like cornering lights when not used as full time fog lights. Its a nice feature

I think it's when you turn the wheel, and it doesn't need to be turned very far for the corner lights to come on. But I'll have to verify that, as I usually always have fogs on.

The fogs come on when turning and it really helps as a cornering light. Its a great feature imo
