hmm... sounds suspiciously like the symptoms mentioned in the EBB recall from last year.

Was you truck affected/fixed?
Sigh, it was the F-ing dipstick. Wasnt me... I just had the oil changed only couple of hundred miles ago. Apparently the tech failed to fully seat it. I'll admit it is in a pretty damn difficult to get to spot and sh*t happens, but kinda pissed off on this one. From now on, I'm checking it...
Hmm... finally just went out this morning to take a look. At first I though everything was clean under the hood, but then I noticed a ton of droplets on the firewall. Guess I got lucky and didn't burn the truck down, but clearly there's an higher pressure oil leak from somewhere. Not quite...
I was on an extended trip yesterday, about 70 miles of highway followed by 35 miles on rural roads. About 10 miles after leaving the highway, I came to an intersection and had to stop. I noticed a rather acrid smell, something between creosote and burning rubber. The truck was behaving...
True, and I really appreciated that feature up until winter hit, the mirrors froze in the retracted position and it took a half hour of warm up and driving before they reluctantly unfolded. Turned the auto fold feature off after that. Now I just hit the remote lock and see the flash.
Dunno, but my money is on disappointment. If this is indeed a halo product, given a BR starts at 80K and Navigator over 90K. I would be surprised if it started for much less than 95K assuming a V-6. But if its a V-8, I suspect it will cross $100K.. still a lot cheaper than the '26 G550, the...
When I picked up my RR, it was registering something like 6 MPG. Over the course of the tank the MPG steadily rose. I dont recall checking my range, but I could imagine that it it might have held steady as the fuel level dropped, but the avg MPG rose.
You might try reseting the trip to see if...
IMO, on road acceleration, say for passing situations, is pretty fierce when mashing the pedal. Off the line, I find things a little more nuanced. My truck seems to prefer a squeeze followed by a hard press as opposed to just flat out stomping the pedal which typically results in a bit of bog...
...and from a day to day perspective, IMO, its all the better for it. Love the hell out of mine, but that love is based on what a great blend of fun and practicality it provides. The closest my truck will get to racing is likely a trip down to Kentucky in June to checkout the return of WRC to...
Just one of the (opposite) reasons why I went RR over the ST (or any of a half dozen alternatives). Didnt need a third row, frequently do need a bed to throw dirty ass crap into. Given I don't off road, I would have preferred the ST from a handling standpoint, but the practicality of a truck...
Pretty cold around here the past week or so and I hadn't driven the truck in a week. Was out around 5AM this morning with temps around 5F. The good news is that the door opened and locked with no issue. The bad news is that despite clearly being fully shut, the truck thought the door was...
Prior to the RR, over about the same amount of time as you, I had a 2003 F250 SC, a 2011 F150 Lariat CC and a 2019 XLT SC. Interestingly, all three of those spec'd out at ~5500 lbs, around 80" wide, about 76" tall and 230" or so long. Somewhat surprisingly, the RR is just as wide and tall and...
